Well, sort of new. I'm Cass and I was here for a while before, most notably with Mickey Knox and Donny Donowitz.

This time I'm bringing in Slick from a Canadian exploitation movie called Hobo with a Shotgun. He's the favorite son of a high profile drug dealer who controls a small city and he's an all around terrible guy.

While I love Itachi, I don't think he ever clicked here in Poly for me which has just made me making him active really hard to do.  And it's really not fair for me to hold onto him and not be sure about him.  It's time to rip the band-aid off before the big move happens...

I'm really sorry to Sora especially, I love your Sasuke and thank you for letting me be your angsty older brother for the time I was playing him.  Like I said on plurk, feel free to have Sasuke find his Akatsuki cloak with the message inside of it.  Other than that, he'll be gone without a trace, just like the ninja he is.

I'll still be sticking around for the move with Mithos though!  So I'll just have to get my butt into gear and focus on playing him and bugging everyone with that human hating angel boy thing.

I really hate do to this, but I'm letting Vicente go. His muse keeps escaping me and, to be honest, I haven't really been satisfied with how I've been playing him. Plus, I think four characters might be a little much for me right now.

Fight Club
Carla is thinking about calling together a fight club at the end of January/February. She would be making a public call for 'sparring partners' but really just turn up with a hat full of numbers and explain the rules.

I'll make another post about it later, but I wanted to take an initial read on how many people might be interested in that! Folks with powers are invited to fight, just not to use said powers. No weapons, fights end with tap-outs or knock-outs. Closer to the meeting, I'd be happy to take a list and RNG up matches. The idea is more to meet a variety of people, so I could also RNG up a winner, if you're not in to writing fights.

Those are just some initial ideas, and I am more than open to questions, suggestions, comments, and concerns.

(the CS student in me also feels obliged to note that RNG is not random, never will be, and never can be. So maybe I will actually roll some dice or flip coins.)

I bring you another weird girl with powers and arent issues. And she's from the same game series that the wrench toting Jack is from, though they've never met in canon but whatever. The point is, this girl is ... her life sucked.

As you can tell from the abilities, she's a bit souped up. Blame life as a Little Sister and all the tampering and alterations that came after. She is also highly intelligent and loves hacking things and will be arriving just at the Good Ending of the game (because i cannot bring myself to Harvest a Little Sister while playing. I just cannot do it.) She will be wearing her big sister suit so..yeah. This should be interesting and I'm looking forward to having her meet you all! Surprisingly, she's much friendlier than Charlie. Don't let the scary diving attire fool you.

Hello everyone!

Caru here--yes, Cain-mun--and, as you may know, Cain is, at present, kidnapped (I ♥ commas). That's the point of this post: Cain has been kidnapped by Mr. Gabriel Corpseblight (lovely fellow, really) and there are now a lot of people sort of tangentially involved besides Cain and Gabe (HWK, Rosella, the City Police, Riff, Cain's Creepy Family^tm potentially...).

So this would be your regulation-issue Organization Post for this plot.

Here's how it breaks down at the moment: right now, Rosella is working on locating Cain. She will be assisted by Riff--suddenly, surprisingly (yes, he's back...right?)!

Riff has built-in Cain-detecting radar (no, really), so they'll end up locating Cain--with a bit of searching (Cain's unintentional red herring about smelling a graveyard may throw them off, but they'll get to him in Gabe's basement hideout).

After that, there's the rescue proper to get to. From what I understand, Gabe has his basement hideout rigged with booby-traps: "tripwire, sharpened door handles, razors hidden in floor cracks... the usual creepiness...possibly poison, too."

But Gabe himself would rather avoid capture and a fight if he can, so he'll disappear for the moment, let the rescue happen, but make note of the names and faces of those involved "for future payback." (Gabe-mun, if you wanna jump in with any details, by all means, please do!)

We're shooting for Monday (Jan. 9) for the rescue itself to go down, but remember that things can always be backdated and forward-dated.

So...tl;dr... There are a lot of other characters who are now sort of connected to this plot (see above), and I don't want to shut you and yours out if you want in on this. So drop in on this post and we can sort out involvement, if you so desire it (also, if your character might be in the know about this happening but you'd rather not get involved in a log or something, that's totally fine too--I have flexible wrists that are just made for hand-waving stuff). I think we've got the aftermath sorted out for Cain himself. ...Gabe's aftermath may be a different matter...

After a 12 hour flight from Paris to California, I've made it safely home. I'm still chasing off some jetlag, but I should be settling back into Poly now! I have basically been staring at this post page since Saturday, trying to figure out what to say and how to say it. Claire here has been in Poly for so long, nearly three and a half years, but I've been here for almost six. After all that time, I've come to the end of the road with Claire, which means that my time here at Poly has also come to an end. It's been such a wonderful journey, with many ups and downs, and I've never had more fun anywhere, never gotten to know better people, never gotten to play with better writers.

My activity has been so atrocious in recent months, so maybe someday when I'm less bogged down with work and stress, I'll have the time and inspiration to come back. But in the meantime:

What does he do about this? Well, what most antisocial bastards would do. KIDNAP SOMEONE!

The zombie rogue would follow them invisibly for a day, and then knock them out and drag them back to his current residence - a cellar. Blindfolded and tied up, the poor bastard would be 'company' to Gabriel until they break free (by their own or freed by friends).

For those of you who were around then--hey!  I brought Justin back!  He won't remember being in the City at first, but his memories will start coming back over time.  Apologies in advance for any feelings he might hurt.  Everyone I haven't played with?  Hey!  I brought you a nerdy and recently-deceased seventeen year-old murderer!  He likes poetry, philosophy, flowers, long walks on the beach, and writing long, private journal entries full of guilt and existential confusion.  In spite of the murdering thing, he's pretty polite if a bit lacking in the social skills department.

A few things-- it seems there are at least a few people who would like a ~holiday gala~ kind of event, and our beautiful mods have just given me the clearance to host one! Ideally, I'd like to set this up in true Tony Stark fashion.

Meaning everything is just over-the-top. To do this, I would like a few-- volunteers?

♫ Magicians/Wizards/Witches/Warlocks/People who can enchant things. I'd like cool floaty stuff and cool effects (like snowfall that 'disappears' when it touches anything solid? Can that happen??) Floating lanterns, twiiinkling stars that aren't actually stars, that kind of thing. TONY KNOWS YOU MAGIC PEOPLE ARE OUT THERE COME HELP MAKE HIS EVENT COOL AND MAGICY.

♫ Fire users/fire manipulators/fire benders/and perhaps more wizards to manipulate fire for the night time fireworks show.

♫ Musicians. LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IS THE BEST ENTERTAINMENT.

♫ Waiters/waitresses/a caterer/bodyguards! For those who want to earn a bit more money and don't care to dress up? A way to be forced to go and mingle? A bit of warning: waitresses will probably be given sexy uniforms to wear. This is Tony Stark.

♫ Wondering if anyone would be interested in having this be a charity ball kind of thing as well. Characters can make donations... (are raffles classy?) and the proceeds go to a character-run organization? Like the academy, the welcome center, the youth center, etc etc.

I think that's about it. Of course, volunteers don't necessarily have to... do anything. It's just an IC event-building kind of thing I guess? If anyone wants/needs any ideas for posts or needs an excuse to force an unsocial character to a social event.

I'm thinking of making a tampered open log on maybe the 22nd/23rd? Then have the IC date be the 23rd to avoid um. Everyone showing up drunk.

I am 100% open to suggestions (especially on how I should go about setting up the tampered log) and if anyone has any concerns please tell meeeee. Should there be a giant holiday tree in the middle or is that too exclusive and Christmas-oriented?

Hello Poly, my name is Vee. I am all the way brand new here, although I do drag my OCs around just about anywhere that will take them, so you may recognize me anyway.

This OC is a lady by the name of Carla Morir. She started off as an arrogant and oversexed sociopathic counterfeiter, and was eventually shot by someone she double-crossed. She spent some time as her not!boyfriend's zombie pet, which was a pretty humiliating experience. Unfortunately, she met a ladybug who granted her a wish and now she's living and breathing again. Death wasn't kind to her though, and she's really not quite right in the head. Her full and painfully long app is located here, if you're the sort who likes to check them out.

Carla is a self-harming sado-masochist, a violent rapist, murderer, and sometimes cannibal. Not everybody's cup of tea, I am well aware! These are her secrets, so they're not things to really be shared casually, but if it would still be your preference to simply have no interaction with Carla, I completely understand. It's helpful if you drop me a note if this is the case, I'm really not able to read minds long distance. So yeah, there's no denying it. This semester abroad has turned my RP life into a rotting carcass. Good news (and bad news): it's almost over! Finals done with, packing to get done, etc. However, this is (one)--- a post to say I am still here--- and (two)--- a hiatus note for the next two weeks. From December 20th to January 2nd, I'll be traveling with my parents which means even a very limited internet connection.

Amory Felix (fatespoken) will be hiatused and up to his usual tasks. Bartending, stargazing in the mountains, taking care of aquilo, grumping about, etc....

I will be back come January and hopefully with another character in tow. ;; Thank you so much for your understanding everyone!

--haha no seriously. Some of you may have already noticed that my usual tagging slowness just slowed down even more! Before I choke on my own paranoia, I just wanted to let everyone know that this is probably going to continue on until the end of the month or at least until I stop spending the hours that I'm not working/sleeping watching Supernatural (it's become a problem, guys. What am I going to do with all this man-angst).

Sometimes when I announce a slowatus it actually...does the reverse of what it's supposed to do so idk. BASICALLY I APOLOGIZE IF I'M MOLASSES SLOW and if I don't get to everyone all the time. Feel free to drop stuff with me okay? I 100% love all my interactions right now I'm just a little overwhelmed but seriously I love. You. All.

Part the second | Anyone interested in a holiday gala type ball type fancy occasion type thing? Or is anyone already planning one? I don't want to step on any toes just in case! But if not, Tony here has a fancy building and maybe some money saved up and maybe a taste for the extravagant. So. Just wondering!!!

Well! Chase switched journals, he's three years older (although having lived here for nearly that time... actually the same age), some kind of super surgeon, not quite divorced and recently kind-of-sort-of killed Darth Vader.

So awkward posting this, but I disappeared for about two weeks thanks to work. So sorry for leaving threads hanging! I'd still love to keep those up if you don't mind, but I can understand completely for dropping them, especially with a game as fast as Poly.

Anyway, this is parsnip returning with Liam here. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to hit up posts tonight otherwise I'll just put in a serious effort for clearing out the inbox.
