How We Price Our Services
While every contract is customized, most IT support plans are built on a few common elements:
Users and Workstations
These are the core building blocks. Your plan is shaped by how many users and workstations your business needs.
At Plus 1 Technology, we use a blended pricing model with a per-user and per-device rate. This allows us to account for companies with many devices but fewer users (or vice versa), ensuring your costs reflect the reality of your environment.
Labor and Support
Most of your day-to-day support and help desk needs are fully included in your plan. That means you’re not billed every time someone on your team needs assistance. However, specialized services like onsite work, hardware installs, after-hours support, or vendor coordination may fall outside the standard contract. We believe in pricing fairly. If you don’t need it, you shouldn’t have to pay for it.
Cloud Subscriptions
We support Microsoft 365 environments exclusively and charge standard Microsoft rates. Most users fall into the $12.50–$30/month range, depending on features. We’ll help you choose the right plan, nothing more, nothing less.
Cloud Infrastructure
If your business uses cloud servers, we run a full assessment to optimize cost, configuration, and performance. Pricing here depends on usage, but our goal is always to implement the best solution, not just the easiest.
Backup Solutions

- Rapid recovery and standby device options
Whether you need basic data protection or instant failover, we’ll tailor your backup strategy to match your tolerance for downtime and risk.

During your consultation, we’ll review how many users, devices, and systems you rely on. From there, we build a plan that aligns with how your company actually operates.
02 What’s the difference between user pricing and device pricing?
Some companies charge only by user, others only by device. We use a blended model because it better reflects the real-world structure of most businesses, especially those with part-time staff, shared devices, or hybrid setups.
03 Are there setup or onboarding fees?
Onboarding fees are clearly defined up front and based on your environment. No surprises. Most standard support and maintenance tasks are included in your monthly contract.
04 Do you support companies outside your local area?
Yes. While our headquarters is in Pennsylvania, we work with clients across the U.S. especially in accounting and professional services, via remote support and cloud-first strategies.
05 What’s your follow-up process if I request a quote?
We send your estimate within 24–48 hours. You’ll also receive a link to schedule a follow-up if you choose. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll send one brief reminder a week later, no pressure, no sales calls.
