Ok, so that was probably not her intent when she designed her new playlist, but holy crap! I was feeling ambitious, so dispite not having worked out for at least a week and a half (thanks to crazy!work and being sick) I tried her new playlist. I walked for just over 30 minutes, and I barely made it home. I thought my legs were going to give out around the 20 min mark, but still I kept going. On the song "Workout", when he says out...out...out, to me it sounded like ow! ow! ow!

It looks like Adam will have a job for the summer! Hallelujah!

He's been talking to his cousin Josh... and about a month ago Adam had mentioned to him that he would be needing something this summer, and might Josh have any temporary work he could do? He said at the time that he might, but he didn't know, because money is tight right now.

Well tonight he told Adam that he needed someone for the summer (and only the summer) pretty much full time! Also, it would be flexible enough that he could probably do some work for my brother if needed on these houses he's been fixing up and renting.

While it would suck to have him gone for 3-4 days at a time, I'm glad that things are getting settled work-wise. It's so stressful when we have to rely on odd jobs and such to get us through, and we almost always drain our meager savings and have to rebuild it in the fall.

YAY!

Adam is, at this very moment, seeing Watchmen without me. He went with my brother and his friends. I now have no one else to see it with, except possibly Bethany, because I know no one else who would be interested in seeing it (that lives around here). I know most of you would see it with me... *sigh*

Also, I have a strange desire to watch Only You again... I haven't seen it in AGES, and I have such a crush on Robert Downey Jr. in that movie. *sigh again, but for another reason*

I'm doing a friends purge. It's nothing personal, there are just a few of you that I either a) don't talk to anymore for some reason or b) didn't have as much in common with as I first thought. I just have too many entries on my friends page and I can't keep up, which makes me feel like a bad friend. I want to strengthen my friendships, not have them get lost in a sea of entries. So for those I had to de-friend, I wish you all happiness.

Wow, what a great weekend! The weather was fantastic; we broke freezing for the first time since the new year started! Yes, MN weather sucks and we have been ridiculously cold this month. Saturday I got some things done, worked out at my parents, and then we went out to dinner with my fam since Allie was home and she and Dad had birthdays this month.

Sunday we were at Josh and Robin's for their Superbowl party. The girls played board games (and it was so my night, I won both!) and we all stuffed our faces. :) Was it just me, or were the superbowl commercials a little weak this year? Some of them weren't even new, they were ones I've been seeing for months! Very dissapointing. Though my favorite might be the potato heads one!

Today is really boring at work so far because Quickbooks, the program I work with, is completely down! So aggrivating. I guess today will be the day I organize my files... On the plus side, Janet is on vacation all week! YAY! Even Dad seems happy that she's out. It's not good when your boss is releaved that you are taking paid vacation time.
