Time for round 6 for the Benson family. Carter and Bree have moved back home from Uni, and are ready to start their adult lives. The plantsims are continuing to reproduce aiming for that point for having 10 plantsim generations!

And we're back with Round 6 for the Scott family. This family is unarguably the largest family in town. Hugh Scott is a Family sim who is going for the impossible want to have 10 children. So his wife Diana has spent the majority of her adult life being pregnant! Let's see what happens for this growing family this time around.

Wow, it has been an extremely long time since I last played this hood or posted anything! I am truly sorry for that. I forgot just how much fun I have playing this little town of Bakersfield. So here I am, back with a much needed update! This time around, we're visiting all the kids at University for simdays 26-28 of Round 6.

Last time with the Jackson/Moran family, a new dog joined the household and unsuccessfully tried to make puppies with old Harley. The three eldest Jackson kids moved to Uni and continued their drama on campus. Tracey got her IW count up to 20 best friends...10 more to go! Robin became a good witch, almost died while trying to cast a spell during a fierce fire, and earned his LTW of topping the Entertainment career. Jeremy became a teen and the youngest kid, Seth, is still just a kid!

Last time with the Merrick/Ward family, the kids all had birthdays, a new baby girl was born into the family making a total of 5 Merrick/Ward kids. Daniel continued working on his second LTW of reaching the top of the Military career. Leslie achieved her LTW of topping the Architecture career, and Daniel's brother Andrew Ward joined the town thanks to an ROS. He moved out of this household and into the Wilcox household at the start of Round 6. Let's see what happens this time around!

Last time with the Wilcox family, matriarch of the family, Larke, continued working on her IW of having 30 loves and left off needing 5 more. She achieved her 2nd LTW of having 20 Best Friends, and she made it to the top of the Rock career becoming a Rock Goddess and earning the challenge yet another point. The oldest Wilcox daughter, teenaged Bree, had one last teenaged woohoo with long time boyfriend Carter Benson, then went off to Uni with a nice $5,500 in scholarships. Her younger sister Sasha earned her IW of maxing all skills while still a teenager and then heading off to Uni with an even more impressive $6,250 in scholarships. Bree is now in her Senior year at Uni, while Sasha is starting her Sophomore year, and we'll see them in the Uni update later this round. It's also Larke's turn to have custody of her youngest daughter, Adrianna, whom lived with the Scott family during Round 5.

It's finally summertime in Bakersfield, and the residents are gearing up for a season full of swimming, fishing, and gardening, among other outdoor activities. Once again, the neighborhood section of town looks about the same other than some of the houses have gotten bigger. Resident Architect Leslie Ward has her work cut out for her this round though, as the first bunch of Uni students graduate and come back to town looking for housing. That means new houses will be built this round, and I can't wait!

So the first group of teens from Bakersfield have had their YA birthdays and moved to good ol' SSU to start their college years. In my game, each Uni year (2 semesters) = 1 simday back in the normal hood. So these kids left their homes on simday 22, and therefore I will be playing them through 3 years of Uni in this update (sd's 23, 24, & 25). In the above picture, Luke Jackson had a slight mental meltdown upon arrival at Uni. I have no idea why, but I am not happy that he cost my prosperity challenge 1 point! It's probably because he couldn't stand all of the bad fashion he saw around him from the other students. Don't worry though, they eventually got makeovers!

Hugh Scott is determined to have 10 children, so last time the Scott's welcomed baby #5; a little girl named Lilly. Diana achieved her IW of maxing all skills, while still trying to work her way up the Gamer track...even though she doesn't get much time to work since she's almost always pregnant. A couple of the kids had birthdays, while Diana found herself pregnant with baby #6 at the end of the round. Also, as a side note, I got tired of kids in this hood being born with crazy skintones that are not my defaults, so I went into SimPE and changed them. You'll see that in the family picture at the end of this round that I changed Holly and Lilly to my normal light default.
