Executive Council
Serves as the governing body of the Society, providing strategic direction, fiscal oversight, and policy guidance to advance its mission and ensure effective organizational management.
By-Laws Committee
Conducts an annual review of the ASPN by-laws. Also recommends and circulates proposed by-law amendments to the voting membership at least one-month in advance of a by-laws amendment vote.
Coding Committee
Reviews coding classifications and current reimbursements relative to nerve surgery, formulates suggested coding and reimbursement schedules for submission to the appropriate governing bodies or other medically affiliated groups when the Society deems it advisable to prepare a public statement. Contributes to Synapse through articles and inquires that would be of interest to the membership at large.
Education Committee
Works closely with the Program Committee and makes recommendations as to the educational activities of the Society. Oversees the Traveling Fellowship program.
Finance Committee
Oversees the financial aspects of the association, alongside the ASPN Treasurer.
Grants Committee
Reviews applications for the ASPN/PSF Combined Research Grant, explores funding sources, manages research survey requests, and establishes mechanisms for requesting and evaluating grant applications.
Membership Committee
Considers all applications for membership on a rolling basis and circulates the names of applicants to members of the Society.
Mentorship Committee
Works to pair mentees and mentors for mentorship cycles yearly.
Nominating Committee
Advises the ASPN Executive Council on open positions in leadership.
Program Committee
Organizes the annual scientific program for the Annual Meeting including review of abstracts submitted for consideration on the program.
Tech and Innovation Committee
Oversees maintenance of the ASPN website, encourages participation by industry and science in the exhibit area during the Annual Meetings, and explores new technological developments in nerve surgery.
