This year we honor Dr. Robert for his tremendous contributions to the field of nerve science. He has published over 600 peer-reviewed publications and has written many book chapters covering all aspects of nerve surgery, including adult brachial plexus repair, nerve tumors and various compression syndromes. Besides his interest in clinical research, he has performed numerous anatomical projects and has been involved in basic science projects on nerve regeneration and experimental nerve repair with biodegradable conduits. His research on intraneural ganglion cysts has really changed the surgical treatment for patients.
