WP - Sections Module [2022]

Please note you will only have this module if it was in the original website scope – otherwise, we are able to add this to your website, please just let us know!
Sections are primarily used to add the content to the homepage; although this varies from site to site.

To update the Section’s follow the below steps:

  1. Open up Sections from the left hand menu
  2. Select the relevant Sections (these are named based on the section they relate to; these are usually on the homepage)
  3. Update the relevant text – When updating the text areas, ensure to keep the amount of text similar to what the Pebble Team used when building the site. This ensures that the text fits the section correctly. Sections consists of the below editable areas:
    1. Text Area: This is the content that displays in the popup [when enabled]
    2. Heading: The heading that displays on the page, and within the pop-up
    3. Sub-Heading: The sub-heading that displays on the page, and within the pop-up
    4. Summary: This is the text that displays on the homepage
    5. CTA Text, URL & Target: When a URL is added, this will disable the pop-up.
    6. PDF & PDF text: assign a PDF, this is most often used in a weddings, meeting or dining section, for either a wedding brochure, a conference kit or a menu. You can then assign the button text that best relates
    7. Portrait layout [June 2022]: If the image’s & slideshow are using the portrait crop size
    8. Display on Homepage: To ensure the section displays on the homepage, select this box
    9. Featured Image: Assign a relevant feature image; this will display if no slideshow is enabled
    10. Slideshow: If a slideshow has been created for the section, assign this here
