PCBoost has been created to increase the speed and the stability of your computer and of the running applications.
The principle behind its functioning is rather simple: it instantly allocates more CPU power to the currently active application. As simple as it is, it’s also surprisingly effective. As soon as another application takes the front spot and becomes the active one, PCBoost also changes its CPU power allocation ratio in order to ensure that it gets the best out of your computer.

In my opinion, the fact that its functioning principle is clearly explained is a big plus in the favor of this tool. Understanding exactly how it works helps the advanced users know precisely what to expect. It’s suitable for beginners, as its interface is very simple and neat. There are no intricate settings or complicated menus, and launching the application is all one needs to do to make it work. It can unobtrusively run in the tray area without hindering your usual computer activities in any way.

It includes a processor benchmarking test that will grade the speed and the reliability of your processor, but I think that this a rather useless feature as it doesn’t come with an online comparison function that would let me compare the performance of my processor with other people’s ones. The fact that my processor was rated with an average of 10 out of 10 even though it’s a pretty old one also doesn’t help change my opinion that this feature requires a lot of improvement. more

Yes, this program actually does work and boosts app speed, however I only use it for 1 program at a time-the program is then fast-forward like.
