I think it's more a matter of things other people think I should have grown out of by now. I don't think you're ever too old for video games and cartoons and Lucky Charms cereal etc. unless -you- think you are. And there's definitely something to be said for being young at heart when it comes to these things. Think about it; if everyone outgrew cartoons and video games at a certain age, we wouldn't have any of the people who create such things in the first place since everyone would've outgrown them before they were old enough to know how to make them.
I've always tended to be fairly indifferent about that sort of thing, possibly because 1) I haven't really been "in love" per se, at least not the way people tend to describe it (with all of the "oh I can't live without you" and that sort of thing) and 2) likely a cause of #1, I am completely unromantic. I get more upset that I've likely lost a friend than the whole "omg we're broken up!!" thing.
