Camp OSCAR

Summer 2026

Camp OSCAR is all about Okefenokee Sustainability, Conservation, Advocacy, and Respect. Activities are designed to help campers understand the ecology, history, and importance of the Okefenokee in fun, meaningful ways. Homeschool Days

Turn the Okefenokee into your classroom! Homeschool Days offer students and families a unique, hands-on learning adventure in the heart of the swamp. Each month features a different educational theme—from Swamp Science and wildlife ecology to cultural history and conservation, designed to spark curiosity and inspire young explorers. Activities include interactive presentations, guided tours, and close encounters with the animals that call the Okefenokee home. Whether you’re testing water quality, studying alligator adaptations, or learning about the people who shaped the swamp’s history, every visit includes experiential and place-based learning that creates unforgettable and meaningful experiences.
