I just got off the phone with obselizabeth. Her father passed away this morning. She and her husband are on their way to be with her mother. I don't have any other details at this time, other than she'll be gone for a few days to be with family.

my two best friends just realized last night that they'd missed my birthday. so they're taking me out for lunch today (just salad).....

...to pick up my 'boys' (husband and son) from the airport. it was fun for me to come home a couple days early and have time to myself, but i miss them.

then we'll be napping and off to an annual ny party we always go to
