President As the president of the company, Travis oversees all aspects of the operation. His vision, professionalism and work ethic provide the company with the direction and the high standards that we strive to achieve.
Janalee Wright
Vice President - Corporate Services Janalee is the administrator of the company’s Quality Assurance program and is responsible for conducting the company’s action items in relation to quality assurance. Her keen attention to detail and passion for progress has helped North-Wright in establishing a robust and systematic organization of records and standardized company resources and materials.
Susan Wright
Vice President - Communication and Advocacy Susan leads North-Wright Airways’ strategic messaging and impactful communication across all channels. Her role involves strengthening relationships with communities, partners, and stakeholders while advocating for the organization’s values, priorities, and growth. By guiding public relations, internal communications, and community engagement, Susan helps elevate North Wright's voice, reinforce its reputation, and support the vital role we play in connecting the North.
Kyle Newhook
Operations Manager As the Transport Canada approved company Operations Manager, Kyle is responsible for all operations of North-Wright Airways Ltd. His duties include Operations Manual production, ensuring all regulations are complied with, monitoring flight duty times and schedules, Operations training, and Human resource administrator. He acts as a Liaison with all the external agencies dealing with aviation and regulations in the industry and other operational control functions within the company. He also performs after-hours dispatch and flight following duties.
Jes Degryse
Director of Maintenance Jes has risen through the ranks at North-Wright from starting as an Apprentice, becoming licensed, and now managing the production of the maintenance department. She is widely experienced in the operation of the maintenance department and in this unique operating environment of the North.
Wayne Litz
Chief Pilot Wayne is the Transport Canada approved Chief Pilot as is responsible for leading the professional standards of the flight crews. He also develops, enforces company SOP’s, trains, and mentors all of the flight crew as they develop and grow their career as a Commercial Pilot. Wayne comes to North-Wright Airways with a wide range of experience flying internationally as well as in the medic flight field. Wayne is not only responsible for leading the crews, but also maintaining currency as a Captain on the Beechcraft 1900D.
Yehor Sukach
Assistant Operations Manager Yehor is responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance to aviation and commercial health and safety regulations with the administration of the North-Wright Airways Safety Program. Yehor is responsible for conducting inspections and audits, administrating safety meetings, and researching new initiatives with respect to the advancement of safety. Yehor has an advanced diploma in Aviation Safety and Aviation Operations from Seneca College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management from Griffith University.
Ed Sheppard
Chief Financial Officer With years of experience in the field, Ed is responsible for managing the company finances, including financial planning, financial risks, and reporting. Ed has also accomplished his Masters of Business Administration.
Praharshi Jay
HR Director Praharshi Jay is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CPHR) with over seven years of experience in human resources management across corporate, financial, educational, and First Nations organizations. As the HR Director at North Wright Airways, she leads strategic people initiatives that promote an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.
Praharshi holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Open University (UK), an MBA from the University of North Dakota (USA), and a Master’s in Employment Relations from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She also serves on the HR Advisory Committee for the First Nations Public Service Secretariat and is an active member of CPHR BC & Yukon.

Denis Rheault
Senior Commercial Operations Coordinator With 29 years of experience, Denis has created an indelible mark throughout North-Wright’s history. He has seen the growth and evolution of the company throughout the years and continues to do so as the Lead Commercial Operations Coordinator. Part of his job is to schedule and dispatch pilots and aircraft with the goal to book the most timely and efficient service possible. He also manages pilot flight and duty times, among others.
Joseph Howard
IT Analyst Having over 15 years of experience in Information Technology, Joseph is responsible for providing front-line primary technical support for all of our staff. He optimizes our organizational efficiency by maintaining and improving our information systems, including software and hardware peripherals.
