HERA HYPERSPECTRAL CAMERAS SOFTWARE
Unlock the full potential of your HERA hyperspectral camera with our intuitive and powerful software suite, designed for seamless data acquisition and advanced analysis.
Included with every HERA hyperspectral camera.
Comprehensive software solution
NIREOS HERA hyperspectral cameras are complemented by two powerful software applications: HERA Acquisition App and HyperLAB. These tools are designed to streamline every step of your workflow, from initial data capture to spectral analysis.
HERA Acquisition App

Dedicated to efficient hyperspectral data acquisition.
HyperLAB

Engineered for hyperspectral data analysis.
Both HERA Acquisition App and HyperLAB are provided with every HERA hyperspectral camera.
HERA Acquisition App
Simplified data capture
HERA Acquisition App is a NIREOS software designed to simplify the data acquisition process with NIREOS HERA hyperspectral cameras. It allows you to monitor the status of the camera in real-time, quickly configure and launch acquisitions, and access a first level of visualization tools to explore the acquired measurements.

- Camera real-time view
- Configuration of camera parameters
- Preview of the acquired measurement
- Data saving (ENVI format)
HERA HyperLAB
In-depth data analysis
HyperLAB is an easy-to-use and a very intuitive software. It provides visualisation and basic data processing of hyperspectral images. With HyperLAB, you can import hyperspectral images acquired with HERA Acquisition App or hyperspectral images saved in ENVI format.

- Hyperspectral datacube visualization
- Live view spectrum
- RGB and false RGB reconstruction
- Selection of region of interest (ROIs) and spectral plotting
- Classification of hyperspectral datacube
- Data & Analysis export

HyperLAB Premium functions
Enhance your HyperLAB capabilities with our premium functions.
Stitching feature
The stitching extension is designed for creating seamless composite images from multiple acquisitions. The extension allows users to load multiple hyperspectral datasets acquired on the same extended object (e.g., a panorama or a painting) but at different locations and create a seamless composite hyperspectral image.
Stitching extension is subject to licensing.

HERA SDK
For developers
In addition to our standard software, we offer the HERA SDK (Software Development Kit). The SDK will allow interaction with any HERA device, directly from the code, in an easy and intuitive way.
The HERA SDK is subject to licensing.
Available versions
- C API (HeraAPI)
A low-level, user-friendly, and flexible API. Written in C to ensure a stable ABI, it is ideal for developing C/C++ applications.
- .NET API (HeraNetAPI)
A .NET wrapper built on top of the C API, following an Object-Oriented (OO) paradigm for immediate productivity within the .NET environment. Available for both .NET Core and .NET Framework, it can be utilized in all environments/frameworks that support importing .NET libraries (e.g., LabVIEW, Python etc.).
Key functions provided
- Device enumaration
- Precise control over device parameters
- Live acquisition capabilities
- Comprehensive hyperspectral data acquisition
- Efficient events notification
