Open Access Publisher Agreements: Springer Nature

SPRINGER NATURE

To qualify for this agreement, the corresponding author must 1) be affiliated with NDSU (generally current faculty, staff, and students) - usually using your NDSU email will show this, AND 2) have an article accepted for publication during the term of the agreement at a qualifying hybrid open access journal (works that have already been published do not qualify).

This agreement waives the article processing charge (APC) when the article is published in one of the qualifying hybrid open access journals in the Springer Nature Portfolio. Other charges may still apply.

hybrid open access journal is one in which both open access and traditional articles are published.

To benefit from this agreement, see Springer Nature Open Access Agreements: A Guide for Authors (author workflow available on page 5).

Nature branded journals are not included in this agreement. See the eligible journals at the link above.

Authors publishing in Gold Open Access journals not included in this agreement may also submit an application to the APC Fund to cover a portion of the APC. This is not a guarantee that their request will be approved.
