Digital Preservation Coalition

The Digital Preservation Coalition is a UK-based non-profit that provides resources to educate public and private entities on the best practices for long-term digital preservation. They offer three courses on digital preservation, email preservation, and providing access to preserved digital content. Registration is free. You can find the courses here.

Lyrasis

LYRASIS partners with member libraries, archives, museums and other cultural heritage organizations to create, access, and manage information with an emphasis on digital content while building and sustaining collaboration, enhancing operations and technology, and increasing buying power. Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC)

NEDCC is a conservation center that specializes in conservation treatment, digital imaging, and audio preservation. They also offer a wide range of educational programs and webinars to help cultural institutions and individuals preserve their valuable collections. WebJunction

WebJunction offers a variety of free library-specific courses and webinars. For those interested in creating and sharing digital collections, enroll yourself in the Digital Collections Stewardship course series. These courses were created by WebJunction in partnership with Washington State University’s Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation for staff at tribal archives, libraries, museums (TALMs), and small public libraries.
