The North Carolina Community Collage Archives Association will be hosting a workshop on ArchivesSpace, Omeka, and Metadata Best Practices. The workshop will be led by Erin Allsop, Archivist at Central Piedmont Community College, and Stephanie Johnson, Instructional and Reference Librarian & acting Archivist at Fayetteville Technical Community College. The workshop will be held at Fayetteville Technical Community College on November 8th.

Second Annual Meeting Invitation and New Officer Voting Poll (Sent on 7/18/19)
- The second annual membership meeting of the North Carolina Community College Archives Association will be held on August 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wilson Library at UNC-Chapel Hill. Please join us for installation of 2019-2020 officers, as well as professional development sessions on digitizing archives and archival software, led by UNC-Chapel Hill staff. The tentative agenda is attached.

Photo Preservation Workshop (Posted 7/20/19)
Photographs: you know you’ve got them, but do you know whether you’re caring for them as well as possible? Come to Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst on Friday, September 13, to learn more from expert Stephen Fletcher.
NCPC will grant a scholarship to attend this workshop. Apply by 8/2/19 to be considered.
