Save the Date: 2019 SNCA Annual Meeting! (Posted 9/6/18)

Dates: Wednesday, March 13-Friday, March 15, 2019

Location: University of North Carolina Wilmington, Wilmington, NC

Theme: Interdisciplinary archives and Interprofessional Collaboration

What does that mean?: We are the Society of North Carolina Archivists, but we collaborate with a variety of other professionals — such as librarians, museum curators, conservators, and professors — to preserve history as “memory allies.”  Being a faithful ally also relates to digital record keeping and information literacy, particularly concerning issues of validity, reliability, and authenticity of websites and other electronic records.

We hope to share the theme and call for proposals in early October, so stay tuned for more details. Please let me know if you are interested in helping with local arrangements.
