Applications for the Traveling Archivist Program through the State Archives of North Carolina are being excepted. “TAP provides hands-on preservation assistance to cultural and heritage institutions that house archives, papers, and records at risk of deterioration and damage.”
The application deadline is January 5, 2018.
Alternative Spring Break (Posted 11/1/17)
The (UNCG) Library and Information Science (LIS)Department at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro would like to invite your institution to participate as a host site for the second year of the Alternative Spring Break program. The program will take place from March 3-March 11, 2018, UNCG’s Spring Break. During our inaugural event in 2017, all five of the libraries and archives that participated reported being extremely satisfied with the program.

Scan-on-Location program with the Digital Heritage Center (Posted 9/14/17)
The Digital Heritage Center wants to come to you! If selected, a small staff would visit your institution, equipment included, to spend a full day digitizing your materials.
