We are an Oklahoma graphic design and Dallas graphic design company built with elbow grease and hard work.
Meet Our Founders
A native Oklahoman, I grew up finding wonder all around, particularly the natural landscape of my home. I also developed a strong work ethic while living on my grandparents’ ostrich ranch and farm as a young girl. An innate eye for symmetry and the ability to find beauty in the natural world led me to a life-long love of art.
I studied Graphic Design and received my BFA from the University of Central Oklahoma. I started designing professionally as an Art Director for an ad agency in 2006. After this, I began working for a design group, building websites, and print designs for hundreds of companies.
I grew up in the UAE. My father worked for the government of the UAE, and my mother served at the Indian Embassy. I had a giving family that taught me the importance of serving others and giving back to the community. It is a value that still guides my personal and professional life today.
I came to the United States for studies and earned my BSC at Lee University. I shared God’s word in the US and abroad, and in 2000, transitioned into the medical field. Here, I continued to care for people, built medical teams, led clinic events, and learned the art of superior customer service.

We believe that work-family balance is not perfect. Still, it is possible, and we have fully integrated family into our company from the first in-home studio to our current studios.

We live this value through the many nonprofits in our design client list, the ministries we support, and the local artists we promote. myheartcreative begins as a blog for Amy to share ideas about creativity and design.
August 28, 2013
Amy uses her design skills to create a baby ring sling that meets her needs as a working mom. With Sam’s vision and support, we launch a product line that would eventually become Two Feathers Babywearing.
August 22, 2014
Amy leaves her design job, and with Sam’s help, we launch myheartcreative’s graphic design services. We build an in-home studio where we can work while caring for our children. There are quite a few growing pains. We both work non-stop and juggle multiple part-time jobs while growing both a company and a family. The struggles just reminded us to focus on building our vision of owning a business that supports our family as well as the families of our employees.

As the team grows, Sam and Amy know that it is time for a larger space and begin working on our Oklahoma design studio, opening a space in downtown Bethany. Sam transitions to our full-time Operations Director, leaving all other work behind.

SEO becomes a priority to myheartcreative, and soon we begin offering complete Oklahoma SEO services.
January 10, 2017
myheartcreative begins hosting local artists, and continues to showcase their work at our studio through 2024.
August 22, 2019
We celebrate five years of design services, and we expand to offer personal family and wedding photography services on top of our long-time offering of commercial photography.
