About MWI
MWI is a multi-lingual, global marketing agency working with multi-location clients like hospitals, self storage facilities, gyms, restaurants, treatment centers, and franchises of all types.
1999 ’til Infinity
In 1999, Josh Steimle quit his job as a web designer for a startup tech company in Provo, Utah to launch a company of one from his studio apartment. That company grew to become MWI, a global marketing agency with clients like LG, Marriott, Sony, Tempur, and Virgin. Today, MWI works primarily with multi-location clients like hospitals, self storage facilities, gyms, restaurants, treatment centers, and franchises of all types.
Who We Work With
Location, location, location…we’re all about working with multi-location businesses.
Our clients have 5+ locations and more planned for the future.
We’ve worked with Extra Space Storage (3,500 locations and counting) but we’ve also worked with self-storage companies with a handful of locations and dreams to grow larger and many others in the 10-50 location range.
When Peak|45 came to us, they only had six locations for their fitness studio, whereas Orangetheory Fitness had over 1,000 (they’re now up to 1,500+).
Why multi-location?
Multi-location businesses have a unique set of needs. They need localized marketing that’s geographic in nature, but they also need to pay attention to the overall brand. Often, the individual locations have their own specific marketing initiatives in addition to those coming from headquarters. Since its start, MWI has built processes and expertise around helping multi-location organizations harmonize their many needs. We work especially well with those companies that want the responsiveness of an in-house marketing department without having to make that large of an investment or the hassle of that many new people to manage.
