I couldn’t live without Finch. And it's not even because I would have bled to death in that parking structure if he hadn't risked everything to rescue me.

No. When he came into my life I had nothing left. He’s right, I was looking for something or someone to kill me -- the only reason I hadn't done it myself was because I’m just too damned stubborn to stop fighting. But he gave me a job. He gave me hope. He made me want to live. And I don't know if he'll ever truly understand how important he is to me.

13.6: Canon prompt (OOC)  
The Unsuals was one of those shows that came and went with much sadness to fans. It was given ten episodes but those episodes were some of the most fun television I got to watch, and rewatch on DVD. There are really two characters that I'd love to have steadily around for Jason.

Casey Shraeger is the new partner he is given. They had such a fun banter about them without any of that romantic tension stigma a lot of male and female partners are given. They just have this fun snarky platonic relationship I'd love to play out.

The other is another fellow detective, Allison Beaumont who is for all purposes his woman. According to Jason the whole boyfriend girlfriend thing is for 12 year olds aka children. He'll tell you he's her man. They just have this fun little numbers game they play that amuses me. Their scenes together are always fun. I don't want to give away too much if you've never seen it and want to watch it (netflix and hulu has it).

I'm here to talk if anyone under the sun knows the show and would want to play her. PM is always open for plotting and discussion.

13.6 - ooc prompt  
This is a lot easier than I thought it would be. I've seen Mulders and I've seen Scullys. The one character from his canon I would absolutely love to have him interact with is Monica Reyes. I know a lot of people hated Doggett and Reyes but they never got the development they deserved. I'd love to work on their partnership. There's alsp the shipper in me that ships these two but that would never be forced upon by me. Doggett just needs his partner I think.


On the slim chance anyone would want to pick up Reyes feel free to PM me and we can hash things out.

He had kept in touch with Kurt on the regular via email or the occasional Facebook conversation, but mostly he had managed to go things alone now that school was finally over and it was the end of a very miserable era. He had been more than content to close the book on it and move on. It was time for a fresh start now.

Smile

She knew as soon as she saw him smile as they stood there watching their newborn daughter through the nursery window that she had never really seen him smile before. Not like this, not where it looked like he was smiling from the inside out with a heart that would probably have room for both her and the little pink bundle lying before them. She had seen him smirk and sneer and leer, but this changed his face, it changed his eyes... and it changed him.

Which is exactly how she knew that she had to give their baby to someone who could offer her the world, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars. It wasn’t a fairy tale or a fantasy. He wasn’t going to turn into Prince Charming and change her whole world with a kiss and a shiny glass slipper. They were two sixteen year olds who didn’t even know how to make themselves happy, let alone a tiny baby. She had to walk away, she had to sign her heart away on that dotted line of those adoption papers, and hope like that hell that the beautiful guy with the beautiful smile she had standing beside her would stay there for her, and love her, without the shroud of sunshine and happiness. She had to just know if it was truly him or just being stuck in a moment...

She should have known that was too good to be true.

007 - (6) Canon prompt (OOC): Write a diary entry from your character with their thoughts of a specific event that deeply impacted on their life.

"I'll get Miss Turing to safety, and I'll come back for you, John."

That's the last thing he said to me -- and he didn't come back. He's gone. Taken -- by her. By the very person I sent out to him. I protected her and gave her a straight, unimpeded shot at him without me around to protect him.

It's Charlie Burton all over again -- and possibly just as lethal, considering what happened to Corwin. I gave her an all expenses paid tour of how we work as a team, of what we're capable of, and I essentially unleashed her on him, while keeping everyone who might have been able to stop her busy following me.

Yeah, I couldn't have known; hindsight is 20/20, whatever bullshit you want to say to reassure me it's not my fault. Except it is my fault. I've been trained to see through this kind of thing. I've been trained to read people and figure out exactly this kind of trick.

And I failed.

And because I failed, the person who means the most to me in the whole world is gone. Taken somewhere, held in the clutches of a computer genius who also happens to be an evil shrink.

I have to get him back -- before she can do too much to him... Before she has a chance to do too much damage.

Right now I wish I didn't know so much about torture.

When I find her and get him safe, she'll wish that, too.

Write a diary entry from your character with their thoughts of a specific event that deeply impacted on their life

My life tends to be a bit like Days of Our Lives sometimes, so at lot of things have impacted on me so damn much that it feels like they have knocked my very soul loose. To pick a single event seems almost impossible. I could talk about when my mom died, but I was so young and all I really remember was that day she was there, and the next she was just... gone.

( Or there is always coming out of the closet, which was a gradual event because I was standing with barely a toe dipped out of the closet door for so long trembling in fear that my very life as I knew it would change forever...Collapse )
