It’s fair to say that Scottish Independence is the prime political consideration for all Scots, including Penguins, regardless of whether you are in favour or not. However, this laser-like focus means that there is a tendency to live inside a box, where nothing on the outside is either known or cared about.
One only sees four walls a ceiling and floor, nothing else.
This post is about what is happening on the outside and there is a truck headed for the box which is currently sitting in the middle of the road.
So what you are about to watch is the truth on the outside… I know it to be true because it all started for me during the GFC, I knew it was a fraud but couldn’t work out why no-one went to jail.
The movie “The Big Short” alluded to it being an unfortunate consequence of the system, but this wasn’t true, it was a stitch-up, a brazen robbery taking place right in front of everybody’s eyes.
I kept asking myself the question, “Why oh why did no-one go to jail?”
My answer in 2009 was that there was so much collusion at the very top that no charges were being brought against anybody except some very small fry for fraudulently filling out some Mortgage Application paperwork.
So much collusion that it made it impossible to convince anyone else that I was right, and it is still so to this day.
Forward to the Independence Referendum and I was steeped in that and watched and read everything, and still do, I came across a video which was purportedly taken inside a marquee somewhere in the Middle East or Afghanistan where an American Ambassador was addressing an audience full of people wearing tribal robes and carrying machine guns.
He said words to the effect that, “I am sorry for your suffering and the many deaths and destruction this war has brought upon your people, but know this. It is not the American people that are waging this war, but the American Government. It has been taken over by a gang of criminals and they infest the very upper echelons of our society”. Vindication for me, yes, but still no-one would believe.
The fight to free America and the World began a long time ago and JFK paid the ultimate price, but he started a movement inside the US military known as Q. We take up the story shortly before the 2016 US Presidential Election… Enjoy the show.
Is this just a bunch of QAnon crap?

No. It’s the truth and it will end the Union. Watch it and see why.

Sorry, you’ll have to give me the punchline, because I can’t be bothered watching one and a half hours of right-wing conspiracy ramblings.

That’s like demanding the teacher answers your exam question when you have not read the syllabus. F for Fail I’m afraid is all that would be on offer.
I am sure that if the content was regarded by his Majestic Munguiness as the ramblings of a right-wing conspiracy or indeed crap as you put it in your earlier comment, then Munguin would not have allowed it to appear on his wonderful blog.
You are of course entitled to your political viewpoint, as are we all. I am left of Ghandi according to Political Compass so good luck trying to make me anything right wing. Whilst the players may have a right wing hue I don’t regard the video as being particularly right wing, more a dose of truth really. Something you don’t get from the BBC or most news channels without constant spin.
As indicated in the post, I have spent a long time researching and this video, only recently made by someone else with a strange name as it happens, covers only the most recent period. It puts together the reason for geopolitical events that have happened since the 2016US election. These geopolitical events are siesmic and will overwhelm the Independence narrative.
I respectfully suggest you watch the video, any questions you or anyone else may have I will do my best to answer.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but QAnon was invented by modern fascists as propaganda to hook conspiricy nuts.
From bouncing around a few points in the video it is:
* Demonising Obama: He was crap for forien policy, but was a left-wing nutter domestically by American standards.
* Claiming Trump is a hero.
* Demonising both the EU and NATO.
I’m not going to subject myself to 1.5hrs of that crap waiting for the punchline. If you want to be convincing, you’ll have to provide a much shorter summary of what you believe. No winding diatribes or thought-terminating cliches please.
Here’s a 3-min vid that summarises QAnon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuDmm39p4wk

Why did you link to a Nazi ranting instead of what Ricky Gervais actually said?
Link the original vid, not some random Nazi rambling about it.

Sorry, this is the second time you’ve linked Nazi recruiting vids, so your sincerity is not going to be trusted there.
If you truely aren’t right-wing, then go watch the PewDiePipeline to understand what is happening to you, before it’s too late.

He must have been a Democrat Niko. We’ll see what happens over the next few weeks given Ms Maxwell is in custody. I am expecting exposures of dirty deeds that would make Jimmy Savilles hair curl.

What a load of rambling nonsense, and a waste of an hour and a half of my day. And I did watch it to the end (sadly).

What a load of pish.
I got as far as ‘Barrack Obama was a sex toy’ before giving in around 15 minutes in. I should have stopped when 5G was mentioned, as all the conspiracy nutjobs seem to mention that.

I found it strange that it was a podcast style with a slideshow of still pictures.
Think it could have got the message they were telling over in a lot less time with text instead of voice.
I’m still trying to get the whole message as it is confused.
Yes the banks ended up selling worthless paper and electronic bonds that were based on synthetics to investors with high interest returns.
I am of the opinion that they are back doing it but this time with car leasing, PCP’s, recent financial returns from the big banks show they are setting aside capital to make provision for bad debt.
What bad debt?, well when this government stops paying the 80% salary there will be people with large car monthly payments to make.
Already we are seeing a rise in virus numbers and Scotland will not be immune.
The doris and co are in panic mode if they’re talking about 50+ age groups being asked to isolate again and the whole of london contained by the M25.
Hint, the virus is spread by human mammal contact, and people cross roads.
I was out yesterday and the traffic is back to pre lockdown levels.
Keep safe, risk assess.

I agree with that Dave, it could have been done better, but they are not professional video makers and I dont think they had access to original video content. Still I can remember each and every Trump visit and the pictures are a correct record. Is the narrative true though as we don’t have much to go on, I believe that it tells the correct story although I have no access to sound recordings at each of the events, but I clearly remember the MSM telling the story on ewch occassion.
Bad debts will be a problem and Scotland will not be immune. We have a fiat currency though so they just keep printing it and sending out the monopoly currency we incorrectly assign the term money.
The real story behind the coronavirus (anagram carnivorous) has yet to be told.

I love a good conspiracy theory. This offering didn’t impress.
The length of the piece and the format of the voice-over against a background of stills is tedious.
Whether this is a deliberate style choice or one necessitated by the genuine financial constraints of the amateur, who can tell, but for me it didn’t work.
In the same vein I found the disjointed narrative quite annoying; it fell short of a masterful use of “knight’s move” thinking as a stylistic narrative device in this genre and had me wondering whether this wasn’t a genuine cognitive dysfunction on the part of the narrator. This is unforgivably clumsy. The essence of the conspiracy theory should convince that the narrator has the insight to uncover and reveal a hidden truth not that he’s a nut job.
Call me old fashioned, but I much prefer the originals to this low budget remake. Professor Robison’s Proofs of a Conspiracy against all the Religions and Governments of Europe (1797) is far superior and not only gave the Illuminati conspiracy status but pretty much set the standard. Of course from the same era we have James Tilley Matthews who pretty much established the definitive mind control machine as the method of transmission. Credit where it’s due, his Air Loom manned by jacobins has more romance and credibility than 5G run by conspiratorial Chinese.

Thank you, Tatu. You saved me an hour and a bit. Watched the opening parts and was of Illy inclination when we got to the 5G masts. Maybe worth persevering but decided to leave it for later. Perhaps a summary would emerge and I could spend the time more profitably. You did just that.
Almost. About the same time, I had to read a message from a mate about London Real TV and a screed on David Icke and his incredible Nostradmus-like c powers of divination. And the horrors yet to come. Not sure if he was serious and trying to do me a favour by alerting me to this or just passing on what he thought was a good laugh.
I’ve also used the time saved to ‘do my own research’ as advised. That led me to this excellent piece in The Atlantic. It’s long, but well worth the time taken to read. I was going to say ‘and effort’ but it’s no effort at all: an absorbing read that researches, analyses, and attempts to explain the strange phenomenon that is QAnon, and how it is assuming religion-like proportions and influence.

I’m an occasional visitor to the Unz report, now the home of Fred Reed’s excellent ‘Fred on Everything’ columns. (That’s how I first came across it). Unz unashamedly right-wing, but still has a lot of thought-provoking material (like Fred),as well as stuff that many of us would find outrageous, ridiculous, paranoid – or a mix of all three. Plus many more unusual ingredients.
Much as we enjoy MNR – and OY, SS, laugh etc – we can’t live in a bubble and ignore what others are saying, even if it does leave us all hot under the collar and letting off steam. I’d come across references to ‘Pizzagate’ but never knew the explanation, or bothered trying to find out. The Atlantic piece filled these troubling knowledge gaps.
I came across lots more in the Unz Report that you might want to look at…

And then click on ‘home’ and see the latest collection of stories. Certainly makes a change from MNR!
I see Tris has posted a new Random Thoughts so maybe this discussion is now closed. Or I’ve been a bit late/early with my random response…
