The flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Government, widely known as the Fulbright Program, is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. It aims to provide educational exchange experiences to a maximum number of individuals not previously afforded such an opportunity.
Fulbright Foreign Student Program
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program for study in the United States is a scholarship for Mauritians and Seychellois to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. degree or for one year of graduate study for non-degree purposes. Selected candidates are funded by the Fulbright Program for a maximum of two years.

The Fulbright African Research Scholar Program is a research fellowship for foreign academics or professionals to conduct advanced research at U.S. institutions.
