Spring Skies

Ice cold clear night skies-

Reaching stars in distant times past-

Haunting deeper blue-

Dashed Hopes

Another snowfall-

Dashes rising springs promised-

Farewell to winter-

Mythical Holiday Matters (a toast)

From the Norse and Greek-

We tell stories of great men-

And the gods of yore-

For Odin and Thor-

Zeus and to Hermes a toast-

Love, Dionysus-

Winter Respite

Snow has covered forests-

Resting months of deep slumber-

While quiet wounds heal-

The Sun and Saturn are Home

Justice is looming-

With Saturn amidst the Goat-

Judgement awaits Earth

Winter Sunset

The forest is quiet-

Beset by darkness and cold-

As light dims silent-

Solstice Solace

Predicted darkness-

Awaits in high latitudes-

Mountains are eerily calm
