Something you may not know about me is that I love to cook. Even more than that I love to teach others how to cook. So much so that I have even gotten jobs in the past that have allowed me to demonstrate cooking meals to customers, most recently as an Apron’s cook at Publix.
I even teach some of my closest friends how to cook, most notably my best friend Andy who didn’t know how to do anything but macaroni and cheese when I met him. Teaching is a joy and it makes me happy when friends tell me that they don’t go out to eat as often because they feel confident enough to cook at home.
So when it was suggested to me to make a cooking blog I jumped all over it. Taking favorite dishes from my childhood and showing people how to make them step by step, even including pictures of every step.
Suddenly I got an idea. A cookbook, based off of the blog which was coming steadily popular with friends and family! It would be filled with recipes both from the blog and from my personal recipe box and would follow the same format as the blog, showing step by step pictures of how to do each recipe. And thus a dream was born.
Unfortunately life and finances caught up with me. Being on a strict food budget meant not being able to purchase the ingredients needed for each recipe. Then the ultimately worst thing happened. The camera broke. And thus Love Dishes went on hiatus. But it was never far from my mind or far from the minds of those who loved it. I continued to work on the cookbook the best I could in private and always planned a return to the blog when I could.
What I didn’t know is that self publishing, especially a book in the style of the Love Dishes cookbook, is very expensive! As someone living paycheck to paycheck it’s very hard to cough up the several thousand dollars it would cost to get the cookbook edited and printed plus distributed! So does this mean the dream dies?
No! The Love Dishes Project was started on Kickstarter yesterday and it needs your help! This project will provide funding to restart Love Dishes on its own .com domain, purchase new camera equipment to take step by step pictures of each recipe, and above all else get the Love Dishes cookbook published and distributed!
So now I am asking for your help. Go here: The Love Dishes Kickstarter Project
Donate. Signal Boost. Pass it along to anyone and everyone. If I want to make this dream come true I need help. And believe me, help will not go unnoticed.
Thank you for taking the time to read this! Much love and many blessings to you all!
PS - I am leaving this post unlocked if you'd like to share it! Thank you!!

2010 Holiday Wishlist!
1. Anything from our Amazon.com wishlist. There are a lot of gift cards, household items and random stuff there.
2. Walmart or Target gift cards. We have both Super Walmart or Super Target here. This means I can use those gift cards for food. Also, MetroPCS $40.00 cards would be helpful! (That's our cell phone carrier)
3. Weez Wear Catnip toys and beds! Chip loves his cat bed but it's getting just torn all to hell and they're running out of their catnip toys. I don't get to spoil them as much as I'd like so I'd like to use one of my wishes for them.
4. iTunes gift cards. Music makes my soul happy. :)
5. Stand or hanging bird feeder. I finally have a porch that is open! I would love a bird feeder to put on it not only for me, but for the kitties to watch.
7. Cross stitch or scrapbooking supplies. I'd like to get back into doing both things!
8. Paid time on LJ, my journal is going to be expiring at the end of December.
9. Final Fantasy IX. If you have it, and you don't want it anymore, I would LOVE it. I only have disk 1, and it's scratched and I so want to show my husband the first Final Fantasy I ever played. :D
10. Something you really can't help with but I really wish that we had someone to spend the holidays with. It's been just me and him for 3 years now, on Thanksgiving and on Christmas. What I wouldn't give to have friends come over to enjoy my Thanksgiving meal or throw a cocktail party around Christmas that people would come to...
I was going to put my address on here, but since I am making this public please just PM me for my address. You don't have to tell me what you're getting. :)
I'll be keeping my eye out on your wishlists too! Hopefully I can do something for you. :)
Happy Holidays everyone!

I am doing this professionally as well, so keep that in mind. :) I'm doing a full 13 card layout for you for $30.00, complete with pictures and a full report on each card. This is actually less than is charged where I was reading before. A tarot reading there is $50! :o So you're definitely getting a deal.
Just let me know if you're interested! I will get you my Paypal e-mail address and instructions if you are.
Thanks guys!

So here's the deal.
I am selling
I HAVE to pay my incorporation fee so that I can get my articles or organization and open a business banking account or I DO NOT GET PAID. That fee in the state of Florida is $150.00.
I was able to sell a painting which got us the money for rent (THANK GOD) but now I need to get this money around for the LLC incorporation. Otherwise I will get a check I cannot cash, because it has to go into a business bank account otherwise a check will be cut in my business' name. I can't do anything with that check then!
SO YEAH. I do awesome tarot readings guys, you don't even know. You will get a 12 page report FULL COLOR with a full layout reading AND individual card readings.
I WILL also consider doing
(If you wanna check it out it's http://www.tarotbyangelina.com/store :D)
If you are interested, the PayPal address is: elkpartnersllc@gmail.com Please indicate any questions you want answered or even anything general like "Romance", "Career", "Finances" or even "Job".
Please pass this around if you have faith in my readings or know someone who has been wanting one! My turn around is at the most 48 hours and it has been around 24 - 36 hours lately. I am leaving this entry unlocked so if you wanna link back and get the word out I would certainly appreciate it!
I appreciate your guy's help more than you even know. Now I'm asking for just one more push to the promise land! And I can swear to you, this will be the last time for a LONG TIME I ask for any help!
♥

In order to earn some money for our cruise, I got back on Sunshine Rewards. I've always had good luck with them, they're pretty home grown in terms of rewards sites. The creator of the site is very active on the forums and they are the only site that gives Disney gift cards and Disney dollars as a reward (among LOTS of other things!).
I used the site extremely regularly about 2 years ago and earned a lot of money in two months. A LOT of money. Now I'm back on it and I've already earned 28.00 to go towards gift cards.
That's how much I've earned over the course of the time with Sunshine Rewards. If you're into the kind of thing, taking surveys (that actually pays) and do a lot of shopping online (their shopping list is MASSIVE and everything gives cash back) then it's definitely worth it to sign up. Just click the graphic to go to the site and sign up. I love it, it's awesome and I know a few of the people on my FL do the rewards sites.
That is all! :)

Due to some matters out of my control, I've been forced to lock my journal to friends only. Now, I have no problems adding you, just let me know by commenting here in my journal if you'd like to be added. Just remember to add me back! I warn you, my journal does get pretty graphic at times, so if you don't like it, just read it.
If you're one of my IRC or BGSU friends, just indicate that in the comment you leave, and it will be doublely no problem to add you! ^_^
