MorseCat Beta is a free Windows-based Morse code trainer for beginners and experts alike. It features several practice modes, such as random character groups, plain text from a built-in editor in normal or random order, text from a file, and synthetically generated ham radio call signs. It also allows users to filter plain text to practice only words that contain no unknown characters. Additionally, it has a lesson editor, allowing users to customize which characters are taught in which lesson. It also supports language-specific characters, such as German, French, and Scandinavian characters. Lastly, it provides selectable character pools that determine the distribution of letters, numbers, and prosigns.
