Located in the Maple Leaf neighborhood of Seattle, Mitchell Center for Natural Healing offers Naturopathic Medicine, Chinese Herbal Dermatology, and Acupuncture. The clinic was started as a continuation of Dr. William A. Mitchell’s Naturopathic Medicine Clinic. The practitioners at Mitchell Center, Leah M. Mitchell and Glenn D. Soja, work as a team to provide clients with a holistic approach to their health.

Leah M. Mitchell, ND, LMP
Licensed Naturopathic Physician
Dr. Leah Mitchell graduated from Bastyr University in 2005 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and practiced with her father, Dr. William Mitchell, a co-founder of Bastyr University, during the last years of his life. She has combined her own medical training and healing wisdom with the teachings of her father to carry on the Mitchell-family traditions of Naturopathic Medicine. She works with both women and men, addressing many diverse and complex medical concerns. She believes in educating and empowering people on their path toward optimal health.

Glenn D. Soja, LAc, EAMP, Dipl. O.M.
Licensed Acupuncturist, Eastern Medicine Practitioner, Diplomate of Oriental Medicine
Glenn D. Soja, LAc, EAMP, Dipl. O.M. received a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in 2006, and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona. During his studies he participated in a clinical internship at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China where he focused on both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. He has had extensive training in Chinese herbal dermatology from the renowned Mazin Al-Khafaji and completed his esteemed dermatology diploma course, and is a member of the International TCM Dermatology Association (ITCMDA).
At Mitchell Center he specializes in the treatment of complex dermatological diseases and is very committed and passionate about his work.
William A. Mitchell, ND
1947-2007
Dr. William Mitchell was one of the co-founders of Bastyr University, and was nationally recognized as one of the top physicians of his field. He dedicated his life to the advancement of Naturopathic Medicine through clinical and educational work. He practiced Naturopathic Medicine in its true form, using the healing power of nature to support each individual in treatment and prevention of disease, and in their achievement of optimal health. As a physician he helped thousands of patients over 30 years, empowering countless people to make positive changes for themselves and their families. As a teacher, he educated and inspired clients and students across the nation. He is greatly missed.
