Board of Directors

The Mission 22 Board of Directors is led by Veterans who have been integral in the creation and growth of our organization.

Mike Kissel
MIKE KISSEL

Mike is a former active duty Green Beret and still serves his country in the National Guard. In the military, Mike was and is still responsible for all levels of security including large bases in a combat zone. He also trains foreign military services. Mike and Magnus (our co-founder) served on the same Operation Detachment Alpha (Special Forces team) and developed a close working relationship, which continues to this day. Mike has been with Mission 22 since its inception and is a founder as well as a member of the Board. He travels the country speaking about Mission 22 and advocating for the cause as well as working on Mission 22’s large scale public memorials.

Brad Hubbard
BRAD HUBBARD

Brad serves as a Senior Manager for North America at Siemens Healthineers. A combat infantry veteran, he has been actively involved with Mission 22, engaging in community events and supporting fellow veterans. Additionally, Brad coaches travel baseball, helping to develop the next generation of leaders. He is passionate about serving others, a value instilled in him by those who have supported him. He finds great joy in sharing the wisdom that has been passed down to him.

Randy Lavere
RANDY LAVERE

Randy is the Founder and CEO of Armored Coffee LLC & a graduate of World Harvest Bible College. He has authored 3 books, hosted a podcast, served as an associate Pastor for 15 years and is a Combat Infantry Veteran. Randy has worked with Mission 22 in several different capacities since 2014, and has spoken as a representative at events across the country, raising awareness for Veterans issues. Randy currently runs and oversees the day to day operations at Armored Coffee, while ministering at events and churches as time permits. His passion is encouraging others to walk in the purpose and fullness of their lives.

Magnus Johnson

MAGNUS JOHNSON

FOUNDER – CHIEF VISION OFFICER

Magnus Johnson is a former Green Beret and decorated combat veteran who served 36 months in active combat. He is the founder of Mission 22 and the visionary behind its flagship Recovery + Resiliency (R+R) program, built to address the mental, emotional, and physical challenges Veterans face after service.

A Bronze Star recipient, Magnus has also been honored with a Congressional Record from the Indiana House of Representatives for his service to country and community. He continues to lead Mission 22 with focus and purpose—driving national efforts to end Veteran suicide and ensure no Veteran fights alone.

Misha CEO
MISHA KNEA
CEO

Misha Knea, a New Mexico native, brings a strong background in law enforcement and community service to her role as CEO of Mission 22. With 12 years in law enforcement and recent experience as a Community Liaison and Volunteer Coordinator for the Bend Police Department, Misha has worked closely with Veterans and volunteers to foster meaningful support networks. A dedicated advocate for wellness and service, she’s passionate about creating space for personal and professional growth.

At Mission 22, Misha continues her commitment to supporting Veterans and their families with compassion and purpose.

SARA JOHNSON
Chief Transition Officer - Board Designate

Serving Mission 22 with more than a decade of leadership, Sara Johnson helped shape Mission 22’s identity, scaled its national Ambassador network, and developed the R+R Spouse Program to ensure families heal alongside the Veterans they support. Now serving as Chief Transition Officer, she continues to guide the organization’s long-term sustainability and strategic evolution.

A proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Sara comes from a family with a history of military service in every major U.S. conflict since the Revolutionary War. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to service, healing, and enduring impact.

Marcus 2024

MARCUS FARRIS – POST TRAUMATIC GROWTH DIRECTOR

Marcus landed on the Mission 22 team in January 2020 after serving as an Engineer Officer in Alaska for four years. He’s passionate about all manner of endurance sports competitions and has spent a lot of his spare time working the the US Military Endurance Sports team, a non-profit dedicated to helping service members achieve their fitness endeavors.

Marcus currently trains for ultra marathons while working for the 320th PSYOPS Company out of Clackamas, Oregon as a Reserve Officer. Through his research, field testing, and writing, he now serves Veterans through healthy living programs and digital content creation.

Diane Mccall

DIANE MCCALL – DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Diane McCall started her position with Mission 22, in September, 2016 and then went full-time in March, 2017 as an Executive Assistant.  Diane’s extensive background in customer service and communications were quickly recognized and Diane was promoted to Public Relations Director in 2018.

In her spare time, Diane likes to attend music festivals, do interior design and spend time with her grandkids.

Cindy Stinson

CINDY STINSON – COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

Cindy started with Mission 22 when it was still located in Nashville, IN. She saw what a huge impact our first sculpture “Soaring” was having on the veteran community by getting them involved in the project.

She has been married to a Navy veteran for 27 years and fully understand the struggles that veterans face after their time at war, so joining Mission 22 was personal for her and a perfect fit

Kelsy Bliss

KELSY BLISS – MARKETING AND BRANDING DIRECTOR

Kelsy joined the Mission 22 team in May 2022. She is a mom of two and a military wife, supporting her spouse through five of six deployments during his years as an active duty Airborne Ranger and National Guard career.

After working 14 years in geriatric rehab as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, she found great joy in working with Veterans and hearing each story shared. She is honored to be part of the Mission 22 team, serving our Veterans.

Carley Hill

CARLEY HILL – COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Carley joined Mission 22 in February of 2018. After years of bouncing between working, backpacking the world, and searching for the meaning of life, she found Mission 22 and now genuinely believes this mission gives her life a whole lot more meaning.

Carley comes from a large family, some of whom are veterans, including her beloved grandfather, a first-generation American who served in WW2 and instilled in his family deep respect and appreciation for military men and women. Carley believes love, compassion for others, and happiness are pinnacles of the human experience.

Brandon Allen

BRANDON ALLEN – Director of Resiliency and Community

Brandon is a former vehicle operator who served in the Marine Corps. He spent two combat deployments as an enlisted Marine. After getting out of the Marine Corps, Brandon pursued a career as an Executive Protection Agent, with Gavin De Becker and Associates. After living in Los Angeles for a brief time while working for Gavin De Becker, Brandon decided to come back home to Oregon but was missing that feeling of camaraderie that he had in the Marines. After a brief period of being home, Brandon went back to Afghanistan for a third time, but as a private contractor. 

Combat sports have always been a passion for Brandon, and when he came home for the third and final time, he knew exactly how he wanted to help his fellow veterans combat PTSD. He wanted to merge his love of fitness and combat sports together with helping the veteran community.

SARA MOORE – OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Sara was born in northern California into a family of Navy veterans. When she was 4, Sara’s family moved to Central Oregon where she was raised and is now raising her two children there as well.

Sara is overjoyed to have the opportunity to serve those that have served our country in a compassionate and loving community. While not at work she enjoys spending time with her children and traveling as much as she can.

Veteran Wellness Coaches

Mission 22 Veteran wellness coaches help to promote long-term healing and growth through proven methods and a comprehensive look at health: mind, body, and spirit.

Anne Overall

ANNE OVERALL

Anne is an ACC and a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. As a U.S. Air Force Veteran married to a Marine Corps Veteran, she understands the unique challenges and sacrifices faced by military families. 

She coaches with Mission 22 and works in a Functional Medicine practice with individuals navigating complex chronic illnesses.  Her coaching philosophy centers on empowerment—equipping clients with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive.  She is certified in HeartMath, Diabetes Prevention and Food Addiction Recovery. 

Anne finds joy in family, traveling the US by motorhome, nature, riding bicycles, motorcycles, performing with her local community band, cross-fit, and learning. She also treasures daily walks with her two dogs in the Great State of Texas.

Chris Lewis

CHRIS LEWIS

Chris Lewis helps people achieve the greatest wealth on earth, health and vitality. His goal as a health coach is to help people find energy they never knew they had.

He became interested in health coaching after his son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and Hypothyroidism at age four. It’s his honor and privilege to serve others in his role as a coach. Health coaching is something he feels he’s been called into and his goal is to answer the call the best that he can.

Mark Davis

MARK DAVIS

Mark Davis is a certified Master Primal Health Coach (PCHI L2) and has been coaching since 2019. He also currently works as a school district instructional coach after teaching 9th-grade science for 13 years. He’s a huge nutrition, wellness, habit formation, and science nerd. Becoming a coach has been a natural progression that combines his background in teaching and wellness into helping people become their best selves and change their lives. He is excited and honored to be a part of Mission 22’s R+R program and to coach our veterans. Mark lives on the coast of Washington State where he enjoys surfing, backpacking, and working out on the beach.

Anya Perry

ANYA PERRY

Anya Perry battled burnout, low energy, and declining health for over 10 years before she found what works. Now, she helps high-achievers unlock the next level of performance in their wellness and life.She is a Primal Health Coach, USA Weightlifging, and CrossFit Level 1 coach as well as the founder of the Habit Queen Podcast.

She’s married to an Army veteran and honored to be a part of Mission-22 empowering veterans to create healthy, nourishing habits, balance their lives, and live to their fullest potential.

Bradley Davidge

BRADLEY DAVIDGE

Bradley Davidge is a husband and father, a serious home cook and foodie, personal trainer, professional musician, avid reader, self-experimenter,  and overall health and wellness geek.He has been enlisted in the Canadian  Armed Forces for the last 11 years. He’s a certified Master Primal Health Coach  (PCHI L2) and a certified Personal Trainer Specialist (PTS – canfitpro).He understands what it’s like to live in today’s hectic and complex modern world,  navigating seemingly endless responsibilities and to-do lists, trying to balance  everything life throws at you; never mind finding time for yourself! It’s no surprise  that our health and well-being can often take a back seat.

Andrea Roberts

ANDREA ROBERTS

Andrea Roberts trained through the Primal Health Coach Institute and is also a trauma-informed yoga and meditation teacher, who uses body-based tools to invite a sense of calm during sessions. Although challenging, change doesn’t have to feel chaotic or be constantly overwhelming; we’ve got this, one step at a time.

Andrea enjoys superhero movies, is bilingual, and is working towards publishing her first book – a work in progress.

KENDRA BABBEY

Kendra Babbey is a Certified Primal Health Coach and Nutritionist with a background in Applied Behavior Analysis. She integrates behavior change principles into her health and wellness coaching to create sustainable, individualized results.

She empowers her clients to cultivate awareness, embrace nourishment, and create sustainable lifestyle changes that support their physical and emotional well-being.

Kendra and her husband live in Ohio and take every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors—whether training for endurance races or hiking with their pups. Off the race course, she’s discovered the grounding power of yoga and meditation, practices that have helped her slow down and live with greater intention.

Keyvan E

KEYVAN E.

Keyvan is a certified master primal health coach (PHCI-L2) from the Primal Health Coach Institute. He has been in healthcare since 1997, serving his community in Los Angeles as a mobile Chiropractic Doctor. He majored in Kinesiology and Physiological Sciences as an undergrad at UCLA and knew from the get-go he wanted to help people improve their health and wellness. For the last 25 years, Keyvan has been fixing necks and backs and coaching clients on all aspects of health. He decided to become a primal health coach to better serve his clients with the tools that coaches use and he has enjoyed every moment of the coaching journey. He considers it an honor and a privilege to be able to work with Mission 22 clients. Natural health is his number one passion as well as spending time with his four kids, wife, and family. When not coaching, you’ll find Keyvan hiking in the trails of Ventura County or running at the beach in Santa Monica. He also loves helping the less fortunate by collecting sleeping bags and blankets and distributing them quarterly to the homeless in Los Angeles County. Keyvan has lived on three continents and speaks four languages.

Steve Manns

Steve is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Certified Personal Trainer, and Spartan SGX Instructor with a Master’s in Exercise Science and more than 14 years of experience helping people regain their energy, strength, and purpose. 

He blends ancestral health, primal movement, and holistic lifestyle strategies to support physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Outside of coaching, Steve is passionate about birding and nature, volunteering with Audubon and the Westmoreland Bird and Nature Club, and he enjoys hiking, Spartan racing, and exploring new places. He considers it a privilege to serve Mission 22 clients and believes personalized coaching rooted in resilience, connection, and ancestral wisdom can change lives for generations.
