Healing isn’t meant to be done alone—and it doesn’t mean staying stuck in the past. Mission 22’s Recovery + Resiliency (R+R) Coaching is a no-nonsense, 90-day one-on-one program for Veterans and spouses ready to take control. We use proven tools and modern science to rewire habits, manage stress, and build resilience you can rely on every day.

WHY IT WORKS

While many mental health approaches center on processing the past, our health coaches shift the focus to the present and future: what you want to achieve right now, goals you can hit today even with PTS, TBI, or other challenges. When you look ahead and take action, the past naturally loses its hold. We honor the warrior spirit, tenacity, and inner power you already carry—that’s the real key to lasting

You’re paired with a coach who truly understands the journey, offering straight talk, accountability, and real conversations. Together you set goals and build momentum with practical strategies for better sleep, stronger habits, stress management, improved relationships, and more.

Self-paced tools, learning modules and many other  resources are available to support you whenever needed.

ELEMENTS PROGRAM

Elements is a free, self-paced course built by Veterans for Veterans, families, and civilians. This 28-part experience teaches proven tools to manage stress, reset your mindset, and build daily discipline. It’s designed for those looking to take the first step toward structure, focus, and resilience, or those who want to better understand the mental and emotional challenges Veterans face.

What you’ll get:

  • Tools to reduce stress, improve mindset, and strengthen daily habits
  • A flexible format, available anytime, anywhere, at your own pace

The Recovery + Resiliency (R+R) Program is designed to empower Veterans and their spouses by offering a transformative approach to healing. Combining the wisdom of timeless wellness practices with the latest in modern science, R+R provides the tools and support needed to rebuild and reclaim your life.

Life after service can bring its challenges, but it’s also an opportunity for growth, healing, and strength. R+R helps participants embrace their journey by guiding them through a combination of assignments, long-term courses, and holistic wellness practices. Each step is designed to reframe both the physical and psychological environments, ensuring that participants always know the next positive step to take. While the wounds of the past may never fully fade, R+R teaches how to turn those experiences into a powerful force for healing and resilience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Recovery + Resiliency Program is designed to teach Veterans and their families how to lead their recovery through structured coaching and effective tools. This isn’t therapy. It’s a 90-day commitment to rewiring habits, reframing mindset, and reclaiming control. You’ll get proven strategies for managing stress, improving sleep, and building lasting resilience, with a support system that holds you accountable every step of the way.

 

Mind-Body Training

These include breathing techniques, mindfulness exercises, and physical wellness strategies that help ground and balance the mind and body.

Educational Modules

Self-paced lessons on emotional regulation, trauma response, and resilience—written for real-world application, not theory.

Practical Tools for Healing

You’ll be introduced to a variety of tools and strategies that can be easily integrated into daily life. From simple mental health exercises to methods for reducing stress, each tool is designed to build a stronger foundation for your healing journey.

Coaching

One-on-one coaching and peer connection help you apply what you’re learning, with structure, accountability, and real feedback from people who get it.

The R+R Program is open to:

  •  Active duty military members

  • Veterans

  • Military spouses, ex-spouses, widows, and widowers

  • Those who have experienced Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
