Why were they allowed to settle in the United States? In particular Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani, daughter of former Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Larijani, was practicing medicine for many years in the United States, as well as teaching at Emory University until people protested in January. These were dangerous failures over multiple presidential administrations. These failures are not only dangerous for Americans but for those fleeing repressive regimes – in this case Iran. The UK and Ireland allow terrorist connected doctors to practice, as well. The only defense that Americans, Irish and British have is to practice name-based ethnic profiling, which unfairly penalizes those doctors who have fled repressive regimes. In the case of Ardeshir-Larijani one could see her head covering and not make an appointment or flee the appointment. However, men aren’t usually so easy to profile and one must depend on names or in depth research. Some foreign doctors raise undue concerns by using the name of the US university where they interned after med school, when asked about the med school they attended, rather than where they got their med school degree. This only increases suspicion, sometimes unnecessarily. They assume that Americans are too stupid to do research.

Also, Americans have to go through strict and costly pre-med training and US medical schools, only for foreigners to come in from foreign universities and take their US government funded medical residencies. Just because people are from poor rural areas or small towns, are they supposed to worry that doctors with dubious training, sometimes from terrorist countries, may intentionally or unintentionally kill them? Many underserved, small town and rural, areas tend to be populated by pious Christians, who often support Israel. And, what about Jews? They have to go to Jewish doctors to be safe?! What about Jewish nurses? “Secretary Rubio Revokes Green Cards of Foreign Nationals with Ties to Iranian Terror Regime

Last night, the niece and grand niece of deceased Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Major General Qasem Soleimani were arrested by federal agents following Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s termination of their lawful permanent resident (LPR) status.
Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter are now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. As identified by both press reporting and her own social media commentary, Soleimani Afshar is an outspoken supporter of the totalitarian, terrorist regime in Iran.
While living in the United States, she promoted Iranian regime propaganda, celebrated attacks against American soldiers and military facilities in the Middle East, praised the new Iranian Supreme Leader, denounced America as the “Great Satan,” and voiced her unflinching support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a designated terror organization. Afshar Soleimani pushed this propaganda for Iran’s terrorist regime while enjoying a lavish lifestyle in Los Angeles, as attested to by her frequent posting on her recently deleted Instagram account.
In addition to the termination of Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter’s LPR status, Afshar’s husband has also been barred from entering the United States.
Earlier this month, Secretary Rubio also terminated the legal status of Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani, daughter of former Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Larijani, and her husband Seyed Kalantar Motamedi. Both Ardeshir-Larijani and Motamedi are no longer in the United States and are barred from future entry.
