A couple of large-scale abstract (stone and paper-based) textures, free for use for being cut up for icons, manipulated for headers, adapted for further texture creation, etc. All the rules are on the DA pages, where these downloads are kept. These were fun, might do more. :)

Note: Older brushes are available again. I hadn't realized that, when I made a bunch of old personal entries private, I'd caught brushes with them. If you follow the brushes tag in this journal to the tag in my personal journal, you'll see where to grab them.

So anyway here are some crazy linework brushes in either 1 or 2-pixel thickness. I'm picturing these being used for texture generation, but hey, you all will have more imagination than I do! I am strapped for time right now and cannot take the time to make image packs, but I will try to do so in the future.

Please comment & credit back to miconics so people can see where to download the files. I'm not picky about where, at all... just so people can see where they'd grab the .abr if they make the effort to hunt for it.

These are not very complicated brushes, so I have to think they would work with earlier versions. Let me know, and I shall be extra super conscious about making image packs if they only work with recent versions of Photoshop.

I did a round of the cartoon icons (ala Idol S6) to accompany the screencap Enchanted icons. Please comment and credit for this type of icon!

My scanner and Photoshop are working again! I can finally do more illustration icons!

I wanted some nice simple Penny Arcade icons. I know I have city and cartoon icons that I owe you guys; a major move has NOT been helpful in that regard, so hopefully I should get those all finished up when I'm settled in at the new place!

I just wanted to point everyone to my off-site icon blog, which I thought I'd set up in case of LJ craziness.
