• If you're on a desktop or laptop computer, enter your phone number and we'll text a private link that you can use to add the selected show or feed to your podcast app.
• If you are on a mobile device, tap the name of your favourite podcast app to subscribe.
• Your ad-free episodes will appear under the show’s new icon in your podcast app library.

Please note, accessing ad-free podcasts via Spotify requires a different method. We have covered how to do this in a separate FAQ.

Running into issues? Or don’t see your preferred app in the list of supported podcast apps? You may be able to add the feed to the app manually. Copy your link from the Manual Link Setup section, then consult your app’s user guide.

Unfortunately, some podcast apps, including Amazon Music, do not support private podcast feeds.

When you are looking at the podcast feed on Spotify, if member-exclusive episodes are showing as locked, you will need to set up your podcast.

Please note that only one Spotify profile can be connected to your podcast subscription, even those connected to a duo or family account.

To set up your feed in Spotify, just log into your account and click the Spotify icon from the podcast set-up page here: members.rustyquill.com/subscription

When you click Spotify, it should take you to a confirmation window. Select the show on the confirmation page and click "Follow".

If you see an error that says your account is already linked, you may be logged into the wrong Spotify profile or you may need to re-link your subscription.

If you have multiple Spotify profiles, including those on a duo or family account, please make sure you are logged into the one that would have initially been linked to your podcast subscription.

If you would like to switch accounts, or if you only ever had one in the first place, please unlink and reconnect your subscription.

All you have to do is log into the Spotify profile that is currently connected to your subscription, and then follow this URL: https://content-access.spotify.com/

It will give you the option to unlink your subscription. After you do this, you will be able to connect it to the correct Spotify account via your account page.

Some members who use Pocket Casts have reported that it may take more than one attempt to subscribe. If the player doesn't find the feed after your first search, please try again later.

1. Log in to your account at members.rustyquill.com/subscription
2. Scroll to the "Listen Now" section of the page, below the subscription setup area. Locate the episode you want to listen to and click the play button.

You can upgrade your membership at any time from your account page when signed in: members.rustyquill.com/account

Under "Change Plan", click "Change".

The cost of the new plan will be offset by the prorated amount for the time left on your original subscription.

The date of upgrade becomes the user's new renewal date.

By contrast, downgrades don't take effect until the user's renewal date.
