Okay I have a favor to ask. I'm working on a project for one of my classes and part of it involves getting an idea of what people think about me. That and, well, I guess I also need a little bit of honesty in my life and really, you don't have to worry about hurting my feelings here because I'm gearing up to hear them. All I ask is that you comment (and you can do it anonymously if you want) and leave me your thoughts on my good and bad qualities. What do you hate about me? What do you love? What do you wish I would do? What do you wish I would stop doing? What you ultimately want for me in my future?

Please, even if you don't wish to join me over at the new blog or even if you feel like you have nothing to say, please leave me a comment with something. I'm such a family peson that I would die if I couldn't find mine. And if you notice, there is one particular part that states there is a sign with "Honore" scrawled on it. Honore is also the last name of the General that is down there kicking some ass and getting shit done. He, apparently, has a daughter and other relatives down there that he has yet to see. It's gotta be hard for him. Being down there, seeing the heinous conditions, and not even knowing if his family is alive. I guess I shouldn't say that much because from what I've read, he hasn't SEEN them, but he might have HEARD from them. I doubt it, at this point, but it's possible. I hope so.

Just like the turning away of donations and relief aide, just like locking the people in the city, in the Superdome... THIS IS A FUCKING CRIME!! You couldn't let the Wal-Mart trucks in because it was unsafe. You couldn't let the people walk themselves to safety because it was unsafe. Well here's a news flash! LEAVING THEM TO DIE IN A UNSANITARY SEST POOL WITH NO FOOD OR WATER FOR DAYS IS UNSAFE! So put that in your pipe and smoke it. Oh! And not letting these QUALIFIED, TRAINED, READY AND WILLING Firefighters in there is a FUCKING CRIME!

elorie has a great article about what Gore was up to (also, the link above is the first link on the list) You know, the guy we intially elected president even BEFORE 9/11. Cause, you know, there was a time that existed before that. And to be honest, times weren't too bad. I remember them quite well. I grew up in them.
