Empowering Individuals Through Education

We engage the public with educational opportunities at every one of our events. Partnering with some of Louisiana’s most prominent hospitals and cancer organizations, we are happy to provide cancer-related pamphlets and educational seminars.

We’re dedicated to empowering individuals through education. We provide comprehensive resources and information about various types of cancers, their risk factors, symptoms, and treatment options.

Early Detection

Methods for Early Detection

Screening Campaigns

We actively promote early detection through screening events, including the “Be Well Bus” with St. Tammany Health System, the Breathe Well ConneCTion—Louisiana’s first mobile lung screening unit—and screenings through Mary Bird Perkins, providing free screenings for more than 20 years. These efforts bring critical resources directly into the community, making screenings more accessible and impactful.

Awareness of Warning Signs

Learning the warning signs are vital to early detection. Catching cancer early greatly increases the chances of successful treatment, and can radically improve outcomes.
