Findings
- The total number of voters was 630, where 261 were from the United States
- 329 voters have a bachelor’s degree and 192 have a master’s degree as the highest level of education
- 162 were female voters, with 91 respondents in the 25-34 age group
- 372 respondents were career changers, and 147 found it neither easy nor difficult to break into data, while 106 career changers found it difficult
- Python was the most favorite programming language with 420 votes (Data Analysts had the highest votes with 255)
- Data Scientists had the highest average salary at $94K, while Database Developers was $33K
- The most important thing for voters was a better salary, and working remotely came in second
- The average happiness score was between 4.27 to 5.86 for salary, work-life balance, coworkers, upward mobility, management, and learning development
