Social Vane is founded by Santi Camps in Menorca. An active listening platform on social networks based on natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, to extract sentiment on spontaneous conversations online.
2015
Social Vane changes to become Mabrian, creating a new version of the platform that focuses exclusively on the tourism sector and becomes the first platform to cover 100% of the travel cycle.
2017
Mabrian signs partnership and distribution agreements with leading international companies globally. The team grows to reflect this. Additional data sources are incorporated into the tool, allowing further refinement of the service.
2018
Break even. First international recognitions: Finalist in the UNWTO Travel Startups Contest ‘Best marketing and sales tool’ at FITUR’s Smart Destinations Awards.
2020-22
The global health crisis reinforces the need for travel intelligence and tools to reduce uncertainty. Mabrian grows by 86%.
Launch of the Insights and Customer Success Department to provide expert consultancy.
Presence in 40 countries.
2023
The New Mabrian Expansion stage new regions, services and segments in travel industry. Mabrian becomes part of The Data Appeal Company and the Almawave Group to consolidate the vision: become global leaders in Travel Intelligence
