Emily has worked for M-SParc since 2018. Her previous role was at Bangor University, developing Welsh-language standardised tests for language disorders. Emily loves a graph, and would like them even better if they showed the closing of the skills gap in Wales, and a smaller gender pay gap in STEM. She works to achieve this by supporting M-SParc’s Marketing & Events, Outreach and Community work, and STEM & Skills projects.

Having worked in the Business Support sector for the past 20 years, Lois can use this wealth of experience to provide dedicated business support to each of our tenants. Lois is passionate about ensuring companies grow and prosper in North Wales, and through her role at M-SParc can now ensure companies get the support they need to achieve this goal.

Debbie gained her PhD in Nuclear Chemistry from the University of Manchester in 2016 after which she spent 3 months working for Hitachi Research Labs in Japan. Since returning to North Wales, Debbie has worked as a project manger for Bangor University across the Low Carbon Sector. Debbie is passionate about Low Carbon Energy and how local developments and opportunities in this sector can help both the environment, the local businesses and community.

Olwen is from Bethel near Caernarfon, she joined the M-SParc team in 2022 as the Contracts and Commercial Officer and is now our Operations and Contracts Manager. Olwen is responsible for managing the contracts and leases for M-SParc and all things Operational. She has extensive experience in the Retail Banking and Wealth Management sector, having worked at HSBC Bank Plc for over 13 years. Qualifications include the Chartered Insurance Institute’s R01 (Financial Services, Regulation & Ethics), CF6 (Mortgage Advice) and a Diploma in Retail Banking and Conduct of Business from The London Institute of Banking and Finance. She is passionate about helping people and businesses thrive in our local economy and takes immense pride in providing an excellent customer experience for our community here at M-SParc.

Iwan has been working in broadcasting for over a decade, having started one of the first Welsh language podcasts, written, produced and directed content for S4C, the BBC & online platforms.
Iwan’s background includes graphic design, camera work, video editing and puppeteering.

Stephen, our Facilities and Operations Officer here at M-SParc. Stephen is a dedicated professional who takes great pride in ensuring that our facilities are safe, sound and operational for everyone. He’s got years of experience under his belt from industrial shipping to Halls of Residence. With a keen interest in engineering and the intricacies how things work, Stephen can generally be found around site, tool bag or pallet truck in tow.

Rhodri Daniel is a member of the Low Carbon team at M-SParc, supporting new developments within the region, stimulating the green economy and its wider supply chain. He has an MSc in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, and has spent 10 years in academia and industry (apart from a three-year stint touring the world in a rock band!). Rhodri has extensive experience in leading projects, with a particular focus on the low carbon sector, and brings excellent project management and bid-writing skills to the team.

Nia is a talented artist and designer, with a BSc in Product Design and Technology from Bangor University. Nia is usually found #OnTour in Bangor or Pwllheli, running workshops, inspiring people to start their own business, and igniting ambition in local communities.

Molly is the Low Carbon Graduate Officer here at M-SParc, contributing to projects within the Egni team. Holding a BSc in Geography and Environmental Forestry from Bangor University, she is dedicated to enhancing biodiversity and carbon capture initiatives at M-SParc. Driven by a passion for the environment and sustainability, Molly is committed to making a positive impact in the local region. Alongside her efforts, she is currently learning Welsh and actively participating in a project involving the planting of Christmas trees on the site!

Rhian is a STEM & Skills Officer with 13 years of experience in education and outreach communication. Currently, she delivers impactful STEM workshops at M-SParc and in schools to help young people discover their potential in science and tech. A mother of two, Rhian loves climbing and paddleboarding, finding adventure both in and out of the classroom.

Elgan is combining academic learning with real-world experience as he works towards a BSc in Software Engineering through Coleg Menai and Bangor University. Splitting his time between study and hands-on placements with us and our wider ecosystem, he’s building the skills to become a future tech leader.

Born and raised in Gaerwen, Rhodri is one of the first members of the Skills Academy. Rhodri works with tenants on data annotation for artificial intelligence, computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing, as well as M-SParc on the Road. As part of his role, Rhodri is studying BSc Applied Software Engineering at Bangor University, which includes network understanding, data ethics and writing in Java, Python and HTML programming languages.

Tom used to work at the KFC in his hometown of Colwyn Bay before it mysteriously burned down. He then spent several years “on the lam” in East Germany, where he worked as an animator in Berlin. When the wall fell, Tom came home.
He enjoys climbing and hates ice-skating.
Pryderi has been providing strategic direction as Director of M-SParc since 2018. His leadership is focused on the vision: to ensure that local communities, the economy, culture, and the environment can flourish sustainably through the creation of high-quality employment opportunities.
With a background in local government and extensive entrepreneurial experience since the age of 16, Pryderi is dedicated to fostering an environment where businesses and communities can thrive.
Outside of work, Pryderi enjoys watching Arsenal, cycling, and listening to music of all kinds. He is also a keen socialiser(!) and runs a pizza van and a glamping business!
