Yes. Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida (LRRoF) is a breed-specific rescue organization.
We focus exclusively on Labrador Retrievers and Labrador Retriever mixes that clearly resemble and behave like Labradors. Dogs that are significantly mixed with other breeds, or whose appearance or behavior does not align with typical Labrador traits, may not be accepted into our program.
LRRoF has a zero-tolerance policy for dangerous dog aggression.
Dogs that display severe, unmanageable, or unsafe aggression toward people or other animals may not be accepted into rescue, or may be removed from the program if safety concerns arise.
Complete the Owner Surrender Form at www.lrrof.org. A volunteer will contact you. Intake depends on foster availability and photos are required. Submission does not guarantee immediate intake.
Submit a Foster Application at www.lrrof.org. After review and a home visit, approved fosters are matched with a dog. LRRoF provides vet care and support. Fosters provide a safe, temporary home and dog food if needed.
