Greetings and Felicitations!

Real Life™ has been crazy. I try not to inject personal stuff because, well, you’re here as readers and (hopefully) fans of my writing, but y’know it’s crazy that it’s taken over five decades for doctors to take me seriously about a medical problem, and by this point my attitude is ‘I’m still alive after all these decades and *now* you’re worried?’
Pffft.
To quote Kurt Vonnegut: “So it goes.”

In other totally unrelated to writing news, my back garden is looking lovely—lots of native plants including milkweed (which is great for monarch butterflies), and I’m looking forward to the swarms of fireflies my plants help attract. 

I am currently in the midst of writing both book six in the Sword’s Edge Chronicles, and book four of Deuces Wild. No clue on when either one will be finished, much less sent to my early readers, back for me to pore over their suggestions and revise, send to my copy editor, then pore over the manuscripts again, then get the covers. Good times.

In case any of you happen to like romance in your science fiction/epic science fantasy, book five of the Sword’s Edge Chronicles, Ranger’s Heart, is a romance. It’s fairly well able to be read as a stand alone. Follow the link to buy from various retailers.

Finally, I have two author events coming up very quickly. 

First State Comic Con is this Sunday, 8 June 2025, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Mill Creek Fire Hall, 3900 Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington Delaware.

The next is Dover Galaxy Comic Con on Saturday, 14 June 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Loockerman Street, Federal Street, MLK Jr. Blvd., Downtown Dover, Delaware.

I know these are short notice for anyone close enough to attend, but as I said, way too much has intruded on my attempts at writing and keeping up with All The Things writers are supposed to do to interact with their readers.
