End of The Year Rundown
Greetings and felicitations!
No new novels (yet – hopefully at least one if not two in 2026). The next book in the Sword’s Edge Chronicles is about 75% done. Quite a bit is happening, and I’m scrambling to keep up. Have a word with my characters if you please, and let them know they can slow down a bit once in a while.
I do have the beginning of the next Deuces Wild book started, including a smashing space battle. Literally. Once SEC6 is off, I can double-down and make some real progress on DW4.
Now, if you’ve happened upon this post, and you’re new to my worlds and wonder if my writing is decent and/or if it’s what you’d like to read, the first novel of each series is only 99¢ in ebook. As a dear friend of mine likes to exclaim (in his NY accent), “What a deal!”

An Early Christmas Gift?
I have taken a couple of previously published short stories in the Sword’s Edge Chronicles and a few unpublished ones and put them in a short story collection entitled Oddments & Sundry.
And it’s FREE!
So I figure it’s an early Christmas gift. Or something. 🤷♀️ 🎄

Because It’s October…
I am offering my one and only story that’s not in the science fiction/fantasy genres. It’s a flash fiction piece (~1k words), and it was originally published in Hidden Villains Anthology, March 2, 2022.
I’m not exactly sure what genre to drop it in; it has been called psychological horror and suspense. Perhaps if you read it, you’ll offer your opinion.

When the new neighbor moves to Briars Lodge Road, she’s drawn to the eerie Victorian house next door. Rumors swirl about its hermit occupant. Whispers of missing residents linger in the air. As her obsession grows, the line between curiosity and danger blurs. Will she uncover the truth or become the next name in a chilling list of disappearances?
