- URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
Good evening to you all. My wife and I have spent the last week in Nairobi, Kenya. We are supportive partners in a small family-based help organisation that serve children and adults in the Kibera slum in Nairobi.
But on Wednesday both my wife and I got sick with fever, and I have also had a severe headache (got medication for that ).
Today it's Saturday here, and we are flying out of Kenya late tomorrow evening.
I am not worried, but concerned about what will happen if we still have fever when coming to the airport.
I believe God want us to travel home as planned. However, God often works in mysterious ways.
So my prayer request is that we will be able to board that plane, without fever in our bodies, and the the rest of the journey goes well.
Thank you so much for your support

- WILL YOU JOIN US IN PRAYER?
This weekend around 3000 young people from the whole of Norway are gathered in Stavanger, in the South East part of Norway.
They come together to worship Jesus, to pray and have fellowship - and to listen to good preaching.
Will you join us in prayer that each and every one will have a powerful encounter with the Lord this weekend, and that this will have a profound and lasting impact on their lives.

- Here is a little greeting from Norway, in the north of Europe.
I just want to remind you all, no matter how you "feel" and what circumstances you are in at the moment, of what Jesus says to us all in John 10:27:
MY SHEEP LISTEN TO MY VOICE; I KNOW THEM, AND THEY FOLLOW ME.
As believers, we are "sheep" and Jesus is our shepherd. When we spend time with him regularly, we learn to recognize his voice from other voices. As we live together with him, we get to know him - as he knows us. And the more we get to know him, especially as we experience his faithfulness and goodness, joy and peace, we will (hopefully) realize that the only sensible thing is to follow him - even though it can be hard sometimes. Because he is a good and faithful Lord, full of compassion and mercy.

- I am new to this platform, and I am still only trying it out. However, I would like to introduce myself. I am a 66 year old retired teacher, since August 2024. I have been teaching refugees and immigrants for more than 30 years. From 2009 until 2024 I worked at an Adult Education Centre in Arendal, in the South of Norway.
I am married to an amazing woman, and together we have three grown up children. We live in a little town called Grimstad in the southern part of Norway, with just under 25 000 people.
We are active members of a local pentecostal church, and are very happy with that. We have quite a lot of Kongolesian and Ukranian people coming to our church, and this is something that we are really grateful for.
I have a passion for prayer, the Word of God and the building of relationships in order to help each other to grow in faith and be more mature as we seek to follow in the footsteps of our precious Lord Jesus. I also love to pray and worship together with other believers, and I believe there is a power in doing just that.
