• HOLINESS IS A DAILY PRACTICE, NOT A ONE-TIME EXPERIENCE

Many believers today treat holiness as a moment rather than a lifestyle. They remember a powerful encounter—salvation, a revival service, or a deep prayer moment—and assume that experience alone sustains their spiritual purity.

But Scripture teaches something deeper: holiness is not an event; it is a continuous walk with God.

Holiness is not what you did yesterday—it is how you live today.

    1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV)
    “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

This command is not seasonal. It is daily.

    1. Holiness Begins with an Encounter but Continues with Discipline.

Salvation is the starting point, not the destination.

    2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Yes, you become new—but remaining pure requires intentional living.

    Many people:

Had a genuine encounter with God

    Felt conviction and transformation

But failed to maintain spiritual discipline

    Holiness must be sustained.

    1 Corinthians 9:27 (KJV)
“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection…”

Paul understood that even after encounters, the flesh must be managed daily.

    2. Holiness Requires Daily Denying to Self.

Holiness is costly—it demands daily surrender.

    Luke 9:23 (KJV)
“If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

    Notice the word: daily

    Not occasionally. Not when convenient.

    Every day you must:

    Deny sinful desires

    Resist temptation

    Choose righteousness over comfort

Holiness is a series of daily decisions, not a one-time declaration.

    3. Holiness Is Maintained Through Consistent Fellowship with God
You cannot live holy without staying connected to God.

    John 15:4 (KJV)
“Abide in me, and I in you…”

    To “abide” means:

    Stay connected

    Remain rooted

    Continue in relationship

Holiness flows from intimacy with God.

    Daily practices that sustain holiness:

    Prayer

    Study of the Word

    Worship

    Obedience

    Psalm 119:11 (KJV)
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

    4. Holiness Is Evident in Daily Conduct

Holiness is not just spiritual—it is practical.

    Colossians 3:5-8 (KJV)
“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth… anger, wrath, malice…”

    Holiness affects:

    Your speech

    Your thoughts

    Your relationships

    Your private life

It is not about appearance; it is about transformation.

    James 1:22 (KJV)
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only…”

    5. Holiness Requires Vigilance Against Sin

Sin does not disappear—it must be resisted daily.

    Genesis 4:7 (KJV)
“Sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”

    Holiness demands alertness.

    1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
    “Be sober, be vigilant…”

You cannot relax spiritually and expect to remain holy.

    6. The Danger of Treating Holiness as a One-Time Experience
When holiness is reduced to a past event:

    People become spiritually careless

    Sin becomes tolerated

    Conviction becomes weak

    Hebrews 12:14 (KJV)
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

The word “follow” implies pursuit—continuous effort.

    Holiness must be chased daily.

    7. The Role of the Holy Spirit in Daily Holiness

You cannot live holy by human effort alone.

    Galatians 5:16 (KJV)
“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

    The Holy Spirit:

    Convicts

    Guides

    Strengthens

    Empowers

Holiness is sustained by yielding daily to Him.

    Illustration
A person who bathes once cannot remain clean forever. Cleanliness requires daily washing.

    In the same way:

    One prayer cannot sustain holiness

    One encounter cannot maintain purity

    Holiness must be refreshed daily.

Practical Steps to Live Daily Holiness
Start each day with God (Prayer & Word)

    Guard your heart and mind

    Avoid environments that promote sin

    Practice obedience immediately

    Repent quickly when you fall

    Stay accountable with godly people

    Conclusion
Holiness is not a spiritual badge you received once—it is a lifestyle you must live every day.

    God is not looking for:

    Occasional righteousness

    Temporary purity

He is looking for consistent holiness.

    Romans 12:1 (KJV)
“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God…”

A living sacrifice is one that remains on the altar daily.

    Altar Call
If you have treated holiness as a past experience rather than a present lifestyle, today is the day to realign.

    Pray:

“Lord, help me not just to experience holiness, but to live it daily. Strengthen me to deny myself, walk in Your Spirit, and remain pure before You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

  • DAY 3 — Influence
Theme: You Are Impacting More Than You Think
    Scripture: Matthew 5:14–16, 1 Timothy 4:12
A small nation like Scotland didn’t just exist quietly. It influenced the world.
Its ideas, inventions, beliefs, and people spread far beyond its borders.Nlot because it was the biggest…
But because what it carried didn’t stay contained. That’s how influence works.
    It spreads.Jesus said:
“You are the light of the world… A city on a hill cannot be hidden.”
    Not:“You might be”
Not:“If you try hard enough”He said:
    You are
    That means one thing:
    You are already influencing.
    Right now.
Not one day. Not when you’re ready.
    Today.
    The only question is:
    What are you spreading?
    Because influence isn’t always loud.
It’s in:how you respond under pressure
    how you speak to people
    what you tolerate
    what you stand for
will eventually flow out of you.
    If pressure formed:
    bitterness → you spread it
    fear → you reflect it
    compromise → you normalize it
    But if God forms:
    endurance → you strengthen others
    truth → you clarify things
    faith → you shift atmospheres
    Paul told Timothy:
“Don’t let anyone look down on you… but set an example…”
    Not when you’re older.
    Not when you’re perfect.
    The Hard Truth
    You don’t get to choose
    whether you influence people.
    You only get to choose
    how.
    Some people influence by:
    drifting
    blending in
    staying silent
    Others influence by:
    standing firm
    living clearly
    staying aligned
    And most don’t realize:
Your quiet decisions are louder than your public words.
    Stop asking:
    “Am I making an impact?”
    Start asking:
“What kind of impact am I making?”
    Because someone is watching:
    how you handle pressure
    how you carry your faith
how you live when no one applauds

    If someone followed your life…
    where would they end up?

    Lord,
Help me to see that my life matters more than I think.
Where I’ve been careless, correct me.
Where I’ve been silent, strengthen me.
    Where I’ve drifted, realign me.
Let my life reflect You clearly—
not just in words, but in how I live.
Use me to influence in a way that points back to You.
    Amen.

  • DAY 2 — Formed Forged, Not Favored
    Scripture: James 1:2–4, Romans 5:3–4

Not everything strong begins that way.
Some things are shaped… slowly… under pressure.
The land of Scotland is not gentle.
It’s rugged. Cold. Unforgiving at times.
Not the place you’d choose if your goal was comfort.
But it is the kind of place that produces endurance.
People raised there don’t become resilient by accident.
They’re formed by what they face.
And that’s where most people misunderstand God.
We expect Him to bless us into purpose.
But more often, He forms us into it.
Because formation doesn’t look like favor.
    It looks like:
    delays you didn’t plan
    pressure you didn’t ask for
    seasons that don’t make sense
    And your first instinct?
    “Something must be wrong.”
    But James writes:
“Consider it pure joy… whenever you face trials of many kinds…”
    Not because pain feels good.
    But because:
“the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
    Let’s be honest.
You don’t grow the most when everything works.
    You grow when:
    things stretch you
    challenge you
    expose what’s really inside you
And this is where many people begin to drift

They were aligned when things were clear.
    But when the pressure came…
    They questioned everything.
    Romans says:
“Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
    That’s a process.
You don’t skip from calling to impact.
    There’s a middle stage:
    Formation
    The Hard Truth
God will allow pressure in your life…
    not to break you—
but to build something in you that ease never could.
    We want:
    purpose without process
    calling without cost
    growth without discomfort
But that’s not how God works.

    Stop asking:
“Why is this happening to me?”
    Start asking:
“What is this forming in me?”
    Because pressure reveals:
where you still rely on yourself
    what you haven’t surrendered
    what you actually believe
    The Question
Are you resisting the process… or being shaped by it?

    Lord,
This isn’t easy—but I trust You are doing something in me.
Where I feel stretched, give me endurance.
Where I feel lost, give me trust.
Where I want to quit, give me strength.
Don’t let me waste this season.
Form me into who You’ve called me to be.
    Amen.

    Topic: Healing in His Wings

Key Scripture: 1 Peter 2:24 – “He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’”

The resurrection confirms that healing is fully purchased by the stripes of the risen Savior, making complete restoration available for spirit, soul, and body. In this post-resurrection season, reject every spirit of infirmity because the same power that raised Christ now flows healing virtue into every sick area of your life.

Rise in faith, believing that no disease or pain can withstand the authority of the empty tomb. Let His wings cover you with strength and wholeness as you declare the victory already won at Calvary and sealed at the grave.

    Prayer Points:
    1. Touch every sick area in my body with Your healing virtue.

    2. Destroy every spirit of infirmity assigned against me.

  • OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL
    DATE: WEDNESDAY APRIL 15TH 2026

    THEME: REVERSING DEATH

MEMORISE: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of.flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Hebrews 2:14

    READ: Luke 7:11-17
11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.

12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

17 And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

    MESSAGE
Yesterday, I discussed how God is able to suspend or reverse natural laws to perform miracles. The Almighty God can sometimes override some laws with superior laws. For example, if a magistrate pronounces a person guilty in a magistrates' court, and that person appeals to a high court, a judge can rule that the magistrate erred in his or her judgement and annul it. God is the supreme authority in heaven and on earth, and He can override any natural law, including the law of death.

And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
    John 11:43-44

In the Scripture above, Lazarus had been buried for four days, and according to the law of death, he must have started to rot and stink. However, Jesus applied a higher law - the law of resurrection and life - to override the law of death and decomposition by saying, "Lazarus, come forth!" Immediately He gave that command, the one who had been dead for four days came back to life. The Almighty God is able to reverse the power and effect of death.

When a person dies and begins to decompose, that person's blood becomes blackish, and his or her skin begins to decay. For Lazarus to have been raised from the dead, it meant that his decaying flesh and blood, which must have become blackish, had to be restored to their normal states. The law of resurrection and life overrode the law of death and decomposition. I pray that the law of resurrection and life will overrule and nullify anything death might have set in motion in your life, family, and business, in Jesus' name.

In today's Bible reading, a widow lost her only son to death. She had earlier lost her husband, and now, her only son lay lifeless and was about to be buried. She was in a sorrowful state, but when the Resurrection and the Life appeared on the scene, He turned her mourning into joy. She, who must have been an object of pity in the town because of her losses, became a celebrity because of her miracle. Beloved, I pray for you today that my Daddy will turn every dead situation that has affected your life negatively into a cause for celebration, in Jesus' name.

    KEY POINT
The law of death loses its power when the Resurrection and Life is on the scene.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Kings 16-18

    AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A ADEBOYE

HYMN 25: THE GREAT PHYSICIAN NOW IS HERE
1 The Great Physician now is near,
    The sympathizing Jesus;
He speaks the drooping heart to cheer,
Oh, hear the voice of Jesus!

    Refrain
    Sweetest note in seraph song;
    Sweetest name on mortal tongue;
    Sweetest carol ever sung:
    Jesus, blessed Jesus!

2 Your many sins are all forgiv’n,
    Oh, hear the voice of Jesus;
The veil ’twixt you and God is riven,
    Redemption wrought by Jesus.

3 All glory to the dying Lamb!
    I now believe in Jesus;

OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: WEDNESDAY APRIL 15TH 2026 THEME: REVERSING DEATH MEMORISE: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of.flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Hebrews 2:14 READ: Luke 7:11-17 11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. MESSAGE Yesterday, I discussed how God is able to suspend or reverse natural laws to perform miracles. John 11:43-44 In the Scripture above, Lazarus had been buried for four days, and according to the law of death, he must have started to rot and stink. KEY POINT The law of death loses its power when the Resurrection and Life is on the scene. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Kings 16-18 AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A ADEBOYE HYMN 25: THE GREAT PHYSICIAN NOW IS HERE 1 The Great Physician now is near, The sympathizing Jesus; He speaks the drooping heart to cheer, Oh, hear the voice of Jesus! Refrain Sweetest note in seraph song; Sweetest name on mortal tongue; Sweetest carol ever sung: Jesus, blessed Jesus! 2 Your many sins are all forgiv’n, Oh, hear the voice of Jesus; The veil ’twixt you and God is riven, Redemption wrought by Jesus. 3 All glory to the dying Lamb! I now believe in Jesus; love the blessed Savior’s name, I love the name of Jesus. 4 His name dispels my guilt and fear, No other name but Jesus; Oh, how my soul delights to hear The precious name of Jesus! ‎PRAYER POINTS ON TODAY'S OPEN HEAVENS DEVOTIONAL, Wednesday 15th April, 2026- REVERSING DEATH ‎ ‎PRAYER POINTS ‎✓Father, i worship You, for death could not hold You captive. • A WORD FOR YOU.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1 Peter 3:12 KJV.

YOUR PRAYERS ARE NOT IN VAIN! Many of us pray - we pray alot. But we have lost the consciousness that God hears. Praying have become our daily tradition, a pattern. We wake up at midnight, early in the morning, during the day to pray. But very few believes and consciously acknowledge that God has heard. I'm glad to tell you: GOD STILL HEARS PRAYERS.

...HIS (GOD) EARS ARE OPEN UNTO THEIR (OUR) PRAYERS... This is one of the most assuring scripture that your prayers are not in vain - his ears are open, and he answers. So what should you do?
    - KEEP PRAYING, KEEP PRAYING. YOUR LABOUR IN PRAYERS ARE NOT IN VAIN. Today, God will hear you and he will answer you. Stay refreshed!

  • *🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 105*
    *DATE: 15TH APRIL 2026*
*TOPIC: OBEDIENCE: THE KEY TO SUSTAINING YOUR ASSIGNMENT*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: 1 SAMUEL 15:22 (NKJV)*
*“So Samuel said: ‘Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice…’”*
    *Devotional Message:*

As we carry out God’s assignment, obedience must be complete. God’s instructions are not suggestions—they are divine requirements that must be followed fully.

King Saul was given a clear instruction to destroy the Amalekites and all that belonged to them. However, he partially obeyed by sparing King Agag and preserving the best of the livestock. Though his actions seemed reasonable, they were disobedience before God.

When confronted, Saul admitted that he feared the people and listened to their voice. This reveals a major challenge many believers face today—the desire to please men at the expense of obeying God.Many lose their direction and compromise their walk with God because they seek approval, acceptance, and recognition from people. But obedience to God must always come first.Saul’s disobedience led to the loss of his kingdom. What God had entrusted to him was taken away and given to another who would obey fully.

Beloved, people may praise you today and reject you tomorrow. Human approval is temporary and unstable. But God remains faithful and desires your obedience above all.Fix your eyes on Him and choose to please Him in all you do. Do not trade your divine assignment for the applause of men.

    *Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word. Help me to obey You fully in all that You have instructed me to do. Deliver me from the fear of man and from the desire to please people at the expense of Your will. Give me the grace to remain faithful and steadfast in my assignment. I choose to fix my eyes on You and to walk in obedience always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
