EUPHORIA Devotional (The spirit of joy, an ecstasy that comes from God) October 30, 2025 PARTAKERS OF GRACE REV. AROME E. TOKULA 1 Samuel 30:24 - For who will heed you in this matter? But as his PART is who goes down to the battle, so shall his PART be who stays by the supplies; THEY SHALL SHARE ALIKE. When it comes to the gospel of the kingdom, every believer ought to be praying, giving, and going because partnership is God’s system for propagating the Gospel and prospering His people here on earth. In 1 Samuel 30 the Bible tells us that David's camp was raided by the Amalekites and the people were discouraged because they had lost their children, wives, and properties, but David inquired of God on what next steps to take and God told him, “Pursue, for you shall surely OVERTAKE them and WITHOUT FAIL RECOVER ALL.”(1 Samuel 30:8) The wisdom of God for taking over and recovering all that is lost is partnership. David went to battle with 400 men while 200 stayed back to watch the home front. When David and 400 returned after God had given them victory, a quarrel erupted in the camp on how the recovered bounty should be shared between those went and those who stayed. David’s answer was that it didn’t matter. What was recovered from the Amalekites was shared ‘equally’ because they were all in partnership and 1 Samuel 30:25 says, “So it was, from that day forward; HE MADE IT A STATUTE and an ORDINANCE for Israel TO THIS DAY.” When you partner with an anointed ministry that preaches the Gospel, you share in the rewards that are accrued to that minister and the ministry for every soul that is won, healed, delivered, and restored. According to our text, you have a “part’ in every victory and testimony whether you went out there on the field or not. In the New Testament Paul also accentuated this principle of partnership! He told the church in Philippians 1:7, “Just as it is right for me to think this of YOU ALL, because I have you in my heart, since both in my chains and the DEFENSE and CONFIRMATION OF THE GOSPEL, you all are PARTAKERS with me of GRACE.” The Philippians were partners with Paul in the preaching of the Gospel through their giving and because of this they shared in the very grace (blessing and empowerment) of God upon His life and ministry. They were partaker (shareholders) of the grace of God! From Acts 16, we understand that these partners in Philippi consisted of prison wardens and businesspeople. Regardless of your profession, you can partner with the Gospel. It is to these people that Paul said, “And MY GOD shall SUPPLY ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) The confidence in Paul's voice attests to the power of partnership! Philippians 4:19 is not a prayer or confession the Philippians made; it is a “pronouncement” by Apostle Paul upon the Philippians because it is in partnership, we enjoy the mighty supply, recover whatever was lost, and take over places for the kingdom! DECLARE I am happy I’m a partner with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I give my money and resources to the preaching and propagation of the Gospel, I declare that I am a partaker of the grace of God and there are no losses in my life. I am enjoying grace and favour in all that I do. I thrive where others struggle! I recover and take over all in Jesus' Name. EUPHORIA Devotional (The spirit of joy, an ecstasy that comes from God) October 23, 2025 THE EFFICACY OF THE WORD REV. AROME E. TOKULA Joshua 23:14 - "Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that NOT ONE THING HAS FAILED OF ALL THE GOOD THINGS WHICH THE LORD YOUR GOD SPOKE CONCERNING YOU. All have come to pass for you; NOT ONE WORD OF THEM HAS FAILED.* God and His Word are one and the same! It is impossible for God’s Word to fail because that will mean that God failed and He can't fail. The power of God is hidden in His Word. Hebrews 1:3 says “…He upholds all things by the word of his power…”He said through the Prophet Isaiah, “So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11). This means that the Word of God is mission specific! Every Word that is spoken by God has a purpose in your life but the purpose of that Word is unlocked when you believe it! To believe God’s Word simply means to make it your present day to day consciousness! It has nothing to do with your feelings but everything to do with what you've accepted to be the truth or reality. For example, I believe the love of God has been poured into my heart according to Romans 5:5 that says, “the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” I have accepted it to be true and no matter what happens, I reject every attempt to hate and walk in strife because I'm impervious to it. I believe the love of God has taken over me and love never fails. The Word of God when received and believed can change, transform and alter even your personality. It makes champions of cowards. The Word of God came to a frightened young man by the name Gideon who hid behind a threshing floor for fear of the Midianites. The angel said to him, “And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, "The lord is with you, you mighty man of valour!" (Judges 6:12). The Word made him into a mighty man of valour that brought deliverance to Israel as a nation because God’s Word doesn't speak to us as we are; He always speaks to us based on the things that God has deposited in us that we don't even yet see about ourselves! Sometimes, many try to get God to ‘see’ their situation but God is calling them up to see what He is saying! The walk with God and the life of faith is God constantly calling us to see life from His perspective! There are many voices out there but the voice of God through His Word is what gives you victory in life. Joshua could boldly stand and tell the children of Israel, “…not ONE THING HAS FAILED of all the GOOD THINGS which the lord your God SPOKE CONCERNING YOU. All have come to pass for you; not ONE WORD OF THEM HAS FAILED.” Glory to God! This is the same thing that happens for you when you believe because the Word of God is the most effective thing in existence. Allow the Word of God to frame your thoughts, imagination and pictures and you can be sure that all of them will come to pass in your life because the Word always does what the Father says it will do in Jesus' Name. DECLARE I am what the Word of God says I am, I have what it says that I have and I can do what it says I can do! I see life from God’s perspective through the lens of His Word. I allow the Word of God to shape and frame my life's perspective and I'm moving from glory to glory! Thank you Father for Your Word that is alive in me in Jesus' Name! TOKULA Hebrews 2:10 - For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in BRINGING MANY SONS TO GLORY, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. We are sons of God in the same way Jesus is the son of God. To be born again is to have ‘Jesus’ status before the Father! You are as precious to God as Jesus is to Him! He doesn’t love you less than He loves Jesus! John 1:12, 13 (MSG) says, “But whoever did want him, who believed he was who he claimed and would do what he said, He made to be their true selves, their CHILD-OF-GOD SELVES. These are the GOD-BEGOTTEN, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten, not sex-begotten.” The new creation in Christ Jesus is born of God! This new birth transcends human origin. This new birth is more than ‘my papa and mama didn’t mean to have me’ kind of birth. It doesn’t matter who you were born to, where you were born or what the plans for you were; in Christ Jesus, you are reborn as God’s child! You are ‘God Begotten.’ There was a time when Jesus was the ‘only’ begotten Son of God, but not anymore because you also become a child of God the moment you believed and received Him as your savior! John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM should not perish but have everlasting life.” By believing in Jesus as the Son of God, you become the son of God. The same everlasting life that made Jesus the Son of God was imparted to your spirit and made you a child of God. Jesus was the ‘only’ Son of God when only He had this everlasting life but the day you received this everlasting life, you also became God’s Son. Romans 8:17 says, “… and if CHILDREN, then heirs—heirs of God and JOINT HEIRS with Christ ...” You are a ‘joint-heir’ with Christ. God gave His only begotten Son so He would have many sons like our text says in Hebrews 2:10, “… in bringing MANY SONS to glory...” Today Jesus is no longer the only Son of God because, after His death, burial, and resurrection; Revelations 1:5 says, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the FIRST BEGOTTEN of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him, that loved us and washed us from our sins in his blood.” John’s first account in John 3:16 referred to Jesus as the ‘only begotten’ but in this second account when he saw Him in His present-day ministry in Revelation 1:5, he referred to Him as the ‘first begotten’ because every man and woman that believes is a begotten child of God! Indeed, God has many children! DECLARE Thank You Father for your gift of eternal life imparted to my spirit. I am your begotten child, and it is good to know that You love me like You love Jesus. I am a joint heir, with rights to everything that Jesus has a right to. Daily as I look up to you though Your Word, I am changed and transformed into Your image from glory to glory in Jesus name!
