  • A WORD FOR YOU.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. [6] And he said unto me, IT IS DONE... Revelation 21:5-6 KJV.

IT IS DONE! IT IS DONE! IT IS DONE! The Lord said: Remember nor consider the former things. Then again, He said: I will do a New thing; I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Today, God is saying I should tell you: IT IS DONE! Glory to God.

God's words are true and faithful, He cannot lie. His words are his bonds. What he says is what he does. He says: HE MAKES ALL THINGS NEW, He says: IT IS DONE. Your situations, stories and entire life is about to turn new - it is done already. See it, believe it, declare it, act it - for so shall it be. Now, write out what you trust him to do and give him thanks for it. Stay refreshed!

  • Good morning to everyone. Grace and Peace be with you.

Family Under Siege is out for production. eBook vendors have already picked it up, and it is available. The printed version should be done in a week or so. At least that is what the sight said. Super excited about this one.

I have a couple of short stories that I need to work on that are due in May, then I will be putting together and Anthology of my short stories—taking these little nuggets of odd inspiration and putting them together in one spot. Last night I was trying to think of an appropriate title; however, all I came up with was: Where Was My Brain?

The book that I just published fell short of the requirement for the challenge of 50k words. I am sure without a doubt that the short story collection will more than satisfy that requirement. Reason being that most of the stories that I am going to use were required to have a minimum of 1000 words, but no more than 5000 words, and I have a lot of short stories.

Today I go to pay my respects to a family member who went home a couple of days ago. A very determined and spirited woman, wife, and mother of two very tall sons … haha. Afterwards, I think that I might go on to see my mommy again and surprise her with a drive or something … maybe a Scrabble day. Who knows.

Though today is not a full schedule of here and there in the world view, it will be a full day of showing up and serving my Father. Giving hugs where hugs are needed. A kind smile where one is felt. A gentle word of encouragement in a time of need. And simply my presence of support in the time of a storm. Not only at the funeral home, but with all those that I encounter today. Storms happen everywhere all day long. When we, as the church, show up … the storm ceases. For that person, the demons that they are facing know that we are the servants and soldiers of the Most High and flee when we walk in His confidence. For the person, it may only be a moment of peace for the time of our presence, but it is the peace that they were lacking. Add a hug or kind word, and the chaos quiets even more.

Today, I encourage you to be that face, the confidence, that presence, that encouragement that quells their chaos. Be the person you would want to be if you were them. Hope.

    Be blessed.

**For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. – Isaiah 41:13

  • Dear Father,

Storms have a way of revealing the flawed and fragile parts of us. Scripture narrates a time when Jesus and His disciples were on their way to Galilee: “And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And Jesus was asleep in the hinder part of the ship; and they awake Him, and said unto Him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?”

First, it is not unnatural to be anxious or afraid in such a situation, so it was not necessarily their fear that was the problem, it was the error their fear produced--a false judgment that Jesus’ stillness meant He did not care. It is easy to discuss stories while missing the most important aspect: how they apply to us.

How often storms have led us to question Your love; how quickly Your silence becomes, in our minds, evidence of Your absence--so much so that we try to project our unrest onto You. As though the depth of Your love is measured by how much of our panic You are willing to mirror, or how visibly affected You are by our storms. How easily we forget: You are God, and what unsettles us do not unsettle You.

Father, there are lessons we are meant to learn from Scripture, yet we have not fully outgrown the mistakes of those before us. We repeat them--so focused on the storms that we forget You are in our boat. And even when we remember, we still assume falsely; Should we be told that What terrifies us does not trouble You--it is subject to You.

  • THE FIRST 15.
“And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.”

    Psalm 9:10

Our heavenly Father calls us, his children, to place our trust solely in him for provision, well-being, and guidance. We see God call his people to a lifestyle of trust throughout Scripture, but time and time again the people of God take matters into their own hands. Why is trust so difficult? Why do we have a hard time placing the burden of provision, well-being, and guidance in the capable hands of our heavenly Father? The only good posture of our hearts is total trust in our God. The only way we will experience the full reality, love, and power of our heavenly Father is in trusting him. It’s when we trust him that we allow him to move in our lives. It’s when we trust him that we position ourselves to receive the powerful working of the Holy Spirit. It’s when we trust him that we allow him to work in and through us to see his will done on the earth. So, let’s allow God’s word to be our guide today as we open our hearts to receiving the courage and faith to place our trust in God.

Psalm 9:10 speaks to the core of trusting in God: “And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.” Trusting God is first and foremost a matter of knowing his character and faithfulness. We must know his name, or who he is, and know in our heart of hearts that he will not forsake us. Trusting God starts with a knowledge of his trustworthiness, but must make its way down to the heart. If we don’t allow God’s character and faithfulness to become a transformative reality of our heart, we will never bear the fruit of trust. So in order to begin a lifestyle of trust in areas in which we have taken control for ourselves, we must begin by asking God for a fresh revelation of his character and faithfulness. We must see God for who he is, reflect on his faithfulness as demonstrated in Scripture, in the lives of other believers, and in our own lives, and allow these revelations to transform our hearts’ desires and bear the fruit of trust.

Oftentimes it takes me being at my wit’s end, where there is nothing possible left for me to do, before I pray and ask God for his help. In reality, I should begin every part of my life with surrender to the Holy Spirit’s power and guidance. I should follow God’s leadership from the beginning. Isaiah 26:3-4 says, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” My life should be a continual response to the love and faithfulness of God rather than a trial of my own strength ending in cries of desperation to my heavenly Father who longed to help me all along. God’s desire is that we would be a people marked by the peace that only comes from continual trust in response to his trustworthiness. Continual peace comes from continual trust.

Psalm 37:3-5 offers what I believe to be a blueprint for the abundant life God desires for each of us. David writes, “Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.” When we place our trust solely in God we are filled with delight in him in place of the burden and weight of living life in our own strength. And when we delight ourselves fully in God, our desires come into line with his, allowing us to simply “do good” and “dwell in the land.” If we will trust in God he will both fill us with the desires he has for us and then satisfy those desires. When the people of God respond to his faithfulness with trust, he does mighty and incredible works. God delivered the entire nation of Israel through the trust of one man, Moses. He destroyed the walls of Jericho through the faithful marching of his people. He scattered the Midianites in response to the trust of Gideon. He delivered Paul and Silas from prison as they worshipped him in trust. The stories go on and on, but they all have this in common: God spoke his desires to his people, his people trusted him at his word in response to his character and faithfulness, and he did a mighty work in their favor.

Where do you need a powerful work of your heavenly Father today? Where do you need his help and guidance? Spend time meditating on the character and past faithfulness of your heavenly Father and place your trust in him in response to his trustworthiness. Your God loves you and longs to help you. He has a plan to deliver you from whatever comes against you. Just as he destroyed the enemies of his people time and time again, he will help you overcome whatever obstacle stands in your way today. Place your hope and trust in God and follow him as he leads you to a life of victory and freedom.

    1. Meditate on the character and faithful works of God.

    2. Reflect on your own life. Where do you need God’s help today? Where do you need his favor or guidance? Where do you need a miracle?

    3. Place your trust in God, ask for his help, and follow his leadership. Spend time placing your trust solely in him. If it feels too difficult to trust him completely, ask for his help! Ask him to uncover whatever lie is keeping you from trusting him. Ask him to reveal his nearness, love, and power to you. Trust is meant to be a response, not something you conjure up. Allow him to reveal himself in deeper ways so that you can simply respond to his overwhelming reality, love, power, and faithfulness.

May you grow in your knowledge of the trustworthiness of your God today. May you experience the joy of having the Creator of all working in the details of your own life. God is not too busy for you today. He doesn’t have better or bigger things planned than your problems. He is infinite, vast, all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving. He longs to work in the little things along with the big things. Listen to him as he speaks Isaiah 43:1-2 over you today:

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

  • Good morning, brethren.

    1. Morning devotion for today.

    i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. TUESDAY APRIL 21, 2026.
    ' " 'I'M PRAYING FOR YOU'"

    ‘I have prayed for you
’  Luke 22:32 NKJV

WHEN SOMEBODY says, ‘I’m praying for you,’ there is no greater expression of love! The tragedy of religion without power is that it leaves you ignorant of the incredible potential of prayer. Prayer moves God! And when God moves, people and situations change! Jesus told Peter, ‘
Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren’ (vv. 31-32 NKJV). And God answered that prayer! In spite of his denial of Christ, Peter ended up leading one of the greatest spiritual awakenings in history, and two of the books in the Bible are named after him. Only eternity will reveal the lives that have been salvaged and ministries restored through prayer. There is no distance in prayer. Through prayer you can project yourself into any situation, at any time, anywhere on earth, claiming the promise, ‘
Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours’ (Mark 11:24 NIV). When the Philistines were about to annihilate Israel, Samuel said, ‘
I will intercede with the Lord for you’ (1 Samuel 7:5 NIV). And the result? ‘
The Lord thundered
against the Philistines
’ (v. 10 NIV). Perhaps this is what the old-timers meant when they talked about ‘praying up a storm’! God comes by invitation. Your prayers open the door to Him. Any time you pray in Jesus’ name, the Holy Spirit is authorised to go to work accomplishing things on your behalf that cannot be accomplished any other way. Remember that, next time someone says, ‘I’m praying for you’.

    ii. THE WAY IS OPEN

"He heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. He began to speak with a loud voice, saying, 'Jesus, Son of David, take pity on me!" - Mark 10:47

Many Christians in need think: 'If Jesus were only on earth, I would go to Him for help.'

Yet when Jesus was on earth, the people only had limited access to God. If you were lucky enough to be at the right time in the place where the Lord Jesus was and if the crowd around Him allowed it, you could have an encounter with Him. He was a man of flesh and blood and could only be in one place at the same time.

    An encounter with Jesus

While Jesus was still on earth, Bartimaeus was one of the lucky ones to meet Him. Bartimaeus shouted: 'Jesus, Son of David, take pity on me!' Jesus stopped and said: 'Call him.' Bartimaeus, who was blind, threw off his coat and was taken to Jesus, who asked him: 'What do you want Me to do for you?' The blind man said to Him: 'Lord, I want to see.' And Jesus responded: 'Go! Your faith has healed you.' At once Bartimaeus could see again and he went on with Jesus (see Mark 10:47-52).

There are many stories about people who went to great lengths to meet Jesus. For example, the man who could not move his body was let down through the roof in front of Jesus. The Lord Jesus healed him. The woman from the land of Canaan was lucky that Jesus crossed her path. After a lot of opposition, she received healing for her daughter because of her great faith.

It is wonderful that we do not have to go to Israel to be able to meet Jesus. We do not have to wait for Him to pass by to be able to speak to Jesus. No, we have access to God and can go to Him any time.

If you do not have a way out, God is there in the midst of the difficulties and you can call upon Him. He longs to help you. He is a merciful God and wants to forgive, deliver and heal you.

James 4:8 says: 'Come near to God and He will come near to you.'

Thou wilt keep Moses Ishaku in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee. ⏀ Isaiah 26:3

True peace comes from knowing that God is in control. ⏀ Dwight L. Moody

O God, our Father, bless us as we go out for the day. Without Your blessing, life has nothing truly beautiful or good. Like children waiting for a father’s blessing, we wait to receive Yours. Grant us Your peace. Give us health and make us strong for the tasks ahead.

As we go our separate ways for our different duties, we place ourselves in Your care. Help us to avoid sin as we walk in the light of Your commandments. We have Your word—help us to follow it faithfully.

We want to do our work well. We don’t want to end this day with only the stained fragments of our efforts to show. We want to bring back a good report at the end of the day. Bless us as we turn to our tasks and duties now. We want to do Your will, not our own; to please You, not ourselves. Fill us with Your grace and love so that we will be gentle, humble, and submissive, and in all things aligned with You. Strengthen us with all spiritual strength and enrich us with all grace so that we won’t fail in our obedience.

We’ll have duties to others as we go through the day. Help us to do them well. Keep us from any feelings that would spoil the beauty of our character. Keep us from having a negative influence on those we meet. Keep us from envy, jealousy, bad temper, and irritability. Keep us from acting in ways that dishonor You or harm Your cause. Help us to bring sunshine and good cheer wherever we go so that everyone who sees us will get a little brightness from our faces and our words. Help us to be a blessing all day long, making our path like the shining light. Bring us all home together in peace at the end of the day. We ask in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

    Books for Healthy Relationships
‘May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.’ 2 Thessalonians 3:5(NLT)

Your marriage won’t be defined by the size of your struggles but by the size of your commitment to overcome the struggles together.

Couples who make it work “til death do us part” aren’t the ones who never had a reason to get divorced. They’re simply the ones whose love and perseverance was always stronger than their reasons for quitting. Those two ingredients (love and perseverance) might be the two most powerful forces in a marriage. If you remain steadfast in your love for each other and unshakeable in your commitment to each other, your marriage will never fail!

Reflection: Are both love and perseverance at the heart of our marriage?

The power of the Lord was present to heal.
    John 5:17

He could not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
    Matthew 13:38

    Power to Heal

What a glorious truth that “the power of the Lord is present to heal.” But there was a place where His power to heal was not a present help in trouble. There was a place where He could not help them – because of their unbelief.

    He Healed All

He was never unwilling to give, for over and again we read, He healed them all Matt.12:15. We read in Luke chapter 4 that, when the sun was setting, ALL those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them” Luke 4:40

    Almighty Power

God’s arm is not short. His heart is not cold – His power is not diminished.. for His healing touch comes through the almighty power of the almighty God – but He could not do many mighty works there.. because of their unbelief.” Matt.13:58 How sad –

    Rich Blessings

God desired to pour out health and healing – but their foolish bias prevented Him. Their proud hearts were tightly shut against the rich blessings He brought.. hardened against Him, because of familiarity with Him! He desired to pour out on them healing and wholeness, but they dismissed Him. He came with rich blessings in His hands but carried them away with a sad heart.

    The Open Heart

The heart that is open to His presence will gladly partake of all His grace and love. Some even are sufficed to gather the crumbs that fall from the tables of others: “For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance, but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.” Luke 19:26

    Abundant Blessings

Oh yes, He will give abundantly and He will give more abundantly – pressed down, shaken together and running over. Luke 6:38 There is never any lack of power to save – nor any lack of blessings to receive, yet we may be near to Him, and miss out on the blessings He is wiling to bestow – for hardness of heart..

    Prevented by Unbelief

He may approach us, desiring to impart rich gifts of strength, comfort and joy. He may come bearing gifts of wholeness and health; wisdom, love and help, and yet He may be prevented by unbelief – as He was that time so long ago, “He came unto His own and His own received Him not
” John 1:11

    Channels of Blessing

We ourselves must be in a position to accept that which He comes to bring. We also must be in a condition to receive all that He comes to give – to welcome His gifts through whatever channel He chooses to send them. We too can close our hearts to Christ and keep His blessings outside our lives.. for weak as we are, divine Omnipotence will never compel His blessings upon us. There must be a willingness to receive. There must be a heart open to His tender advances.

    Hearts of Unbelief

It is often because of unbelief, that God’s power is prevented from working within. He is able and He is willing and He is ever present to help in time of need.. but He will never force us to accept His gifts. That choice is ours and ours alone. “How often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and yet ye would not!” Luke 13:34

    Willing Hearts

I wonder how many blessings we have forgone because of our unbelief. May our hearts be ever open to hear His voice. May our hearts be willing to receive the blessings He wants to give.

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    i. Evening Prayer

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. ⏀ Psalm 4:8

Prayer is the nearest approach to God and the highest enjoyment of Him that we are capable of in this life. ⏀ Jonathan Edwards

Now, at the end of the day, our Father, we come back to You. You’ve heard our prayers. You’ve kept us from harm. You’ve blessed us in many ways. We thank You for all the blessings we’ve had today, for the health and comfort we’ve enjoyed. We now bring all that we’ve done today to Your feet. Whatever has pleased You—please accept and bless. The things we’ve done that didn’t please You—we ask for Your forgiveness and for You to cleanse our hearts from sin. The efforts we’ve made to help or comfort others—please accept and use them. We’ve tried to be cheerful in difficulties and discouragements. We thank You for the strength You’ve given us to endure. If we’ve cast shadows on anyone’s life today by fretting or discontent, we ask for Your forgiveness. We’ve tried to speak kind words to those we’ve met, and we ask You to use those words to bring cheer and courage.

Now, as the day ends and darkness surrounds us, we ask You to shelter us. You are our keeper. You never sleep. We will be safe through the night because You will be watching over us.

We don’t forget our friends. Some are far from us, but all are close to You. Some of our friends may be in trouble. Some may be in great need. Some may be near death. You know all their dangers and needs; please give each of them the blessing that will do them the most good. Remember the homeless and the lonely tonight.

Receive us now into Your care, keep us through the night, and bring us to the morning light if it is Your will. If not, bring us to Heaven’s morning, which is far better. We ask in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

Good morning, brethren. 1. Morning devotion for today. i. 😀đŸŒșđŸŒč🎁🎀💝 MORNING TEA THE WORD FOR TODAY. TUESDAY APRIL 21, 2026. ' " 'I'M PRAYING FOR YOU'" ‘I have prayed for you
’  Luke 22:32 NKJV WHEN SOMEBODY says, ‘I’m praying for you,’ there is no greater expression of love!
Bible In A Year: Lev 18-20, Ps 25:16-22, Pro 10:2. THE WAY IS OPEN "He heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. He began to speak with a loud voice, saying, 'Jesus, Son of David, take pity on me!" - Mark 10:47 Many Christians in need think: 'If Jesus were only on earth, I would go to Him for help.' Yet when Jesus was on earth, the people only had limited access to God. If you were lucky enough to be at the right time in the place where the Lord Jesus was and if the crowd around Him allowed it, you could have an encounter with Him. He was a man of flesh and blood and could only be in one place at the same time. An encounter with Jesus While Jesus was still on earth, Bartimaeus was one of the lucky ones to meet Him. James 4:8 says: 'Come near to God and He will come near to you.' https://www.theblessingdevotional.com 2. Morning Prayer for today. i. “Some of those at the table were indignant. ‘Why waste such expensive perfume?’ they asked. ‘It could have been sold for a year’s wages and the money given to the poor!’ So they scolded her harshly.” —Mark 14:4–5 NLT

As you read the New Testament, you can’t help but notice how little it says about the major events of world history. You might think Scripture would mention Rome and all its mighty conquests. But it doesn’t. Instead, the events of the Roman Empire are mere backdrops for more personal events in history, ones that God chose to spotlight. Ones that still resonate two thousand years later. God focuses on teachings and personal stories that transcend mere dates and accomplishments.

In Mark 12:41–44, Jesus tells the story of a woman who gave everything she had, just two small coins, to the Temple collection box. In contrast to her, the Roman emperor and certain citizens possessed wealth beyond measure. But that didn’t matter to the Lord. Theirs was meaningless wealth—the use of riches that God saw no reason to celebrate in His Word.

And in Mark 14:3–9, we find the story of a woman who made an incredible sacrifice for Jesus. While Jesus was visiting the home of a man named Simon, an unnamed woman poured out a jar of expensive perfume to anoint Jesus.

Her actions are memorable because she seemed to recognize that Jesus needed to be anointed for His upcoming burial (see verse 8). So, with complete abandon, she gave Him everything she had. The perfume cost over three hundred denarii. In those days, three hundred denarii equaled a year’s wages. But it wasn’t the cost of the gift that mattered. It was the heart that made her want to give. It was her motives that touched Jesus, because He knew she had sacrificed nearly everything for Him.

Mark 10:17–31 tells the story of a man who asked Jesus, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (NLT). The man was confident in his spiritual standing because he had obeyed all the commandments since he was young.

“Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor,” Jesus said (verse 21 NLT). That was something the man couldn’t do because he had many possessions. So, he went away sad.

Those who follow Jesus must keep a light grasp on their riches and possessions. We must be willing to sacrifice anything and everything for Him.

Are you willing to sacrifice anything and everything? Are you doing all that you can for the Lord? Some people, like many of the dutiful Pharisees, will give only what is required. They will try to get by with the bare minimum. It’s a tempting approach, but one that you will always regret.

Today, won’t you commit to serving the Lord above and beyond what is required—like the women in Jesus’s stories did?

    God bless you!
