It seems that even the smaller churches have all gone to electronic amplification in their worship music and preaching. For older people or the hearing impaired this can be a serious problem. When I wear my hearing aids the amplified music is hurtful and distorted. When I don't wear them, I miss out on the unamplified conversations and prayers. Even though I'm a retired pastor with a strong ethic of church attendance, I am now finding most church experiences fraught with frustration. On the good side, I yearn even more earnestly for the Rapture or my resurrection when I will inherit the glorified body God has promised to faithful believers!
