Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share an update on Colton’s recent surgery, which went smoothly on September 5th. However, we received multiple calls yesterday informing us of three follow-up appointments scheduled for next week Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. Unfortunately, our insurance has once again refused to cover lodging expenses. We are facing significant costs for our stay, amounting to approximately $600 for three nights, not including the security deposit. Additionally, I need to provide gas and food for myself and my five children during this time. All funds raised will directly support lodging, fuel, and food, and any leftover amounts will contribute toward Colton's surgical costs. I recently increased our GoFundMe goal due to unexpected expenses. The surgery initially was estimated at $15,000, but additional anesthesia fluids and other things have been told have raised the total to $18,000. With follow-up appointments and other medical care, we now face a total of $25,000 in expenses. I sincerely appreciate any help you can provide during this challenging time.
