"It is Written" NKJV
Matthew 4:1-11 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.
Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."
But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"
Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple,
and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down, For it is written; 'He shall give His angels charge over you.' and 'In their hand they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.'"
Jesus said to him, "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt the LORD your God.'"
Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
And he said to Him, "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me."
Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God and Him only you shall serve.'"
Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
Matthew 21:10-14 And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved; saying, "Who is this?'
So the multitudes said, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee."
Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.
And He said to them, "It is written "My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"
Then the blond and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.
Matthew 26:31-32 Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written; 'I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'
"But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee."
Mark 11:17 Then He taught, saying to them, "Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"
Mark 14:27-28 Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written; 'I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered.'
"But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee."
Luke 19:45-46 Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it,
saying to them, "It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'
Luke 24:46-49 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and be rise from the dead the third day,
"and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
"And you are witnesses of these things,
"Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high."
John 12:12-17 The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out; "Hosanna! 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' The King of Israel!"
Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written;
"Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey's colt."
His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.
Therefore the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of his tomb and raised him from the dead, bore witness.
Acts 15:15-17 "And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written;
'After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up;
So that the rest of mankind may seek the LORD, Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, Says the LORD who does all these things.'
Acts 23:5 Then Paul said, "I did not know,brethren, that he was the high priest; for it is written, 'You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.'"
Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also the Greek.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
Romans 14:11-13 For it is written; "As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God."
So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way.
1 Corinthians 15:45-49 And so it is written, "The first Adam became a living being." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.
As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly.
And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
