Matthew 4:18-22 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."

They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

Going from there, He saw two brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them,

and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.

Matthew 8:18-22 And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side.

Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."

And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."

then another of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father.

But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead."

Matthew 9:9 As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me." So He arose and followed Him.

Matthew 16:24-26 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

"For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

So He said to them, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said "'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,'

'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"

The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?"

Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Then Jesus said to His disciples. "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

"And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

When his disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?"

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Mark 2:13-14 Then He went out again by the sea, and all the multitude came to Him, An He taught them.

As He passed by, He saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me." So he arose and followed Him.

Mark 8:34-35 When he had called the people to himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

"For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it.

Mark 10:21-27 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, 'One thing you lack; Go your way, sell whatever you have and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."

But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!"

And His disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again, and said to them, "Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, "Who then can be saved?"

But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible; for with God all things are possible."

Luke 9:61-62 And another also said,"Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house."

But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

John 1:43-45 The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, "Follow Me."

Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

Philip found Nathaniel and said to him, "We have found him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

John 10:27-30 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

"And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

'My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.

"I and My Father are one."

John 12:26 "If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also, if anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

John 13:36-38 Simon Peter, said to Him, "Lord, where are You going?" Jesus answered him, "Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward."

Peter said to Him, "Lord, why can I not follow you now? I will lay down my life for Your sake."

Jesus answered him, "Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times.
