EXPOSITORY EVIDENCE: THE PASSOVER BLUEPRINT
To understand Communion, you must understand the shadow it fulfilled: The Passover in Egypt.
Exodus 12:8, 11** – God didn't just tell the Israelites to paint the blood of the lamb on their doorposts; He commanded them to **EAT THE LAMB**! The blood on the door dealt with the angel of death, but eating the roasted flesh of the lamb imparted the physical strength they needed to walk out of 400 years of slavery!
