As we approach the Good Friday memorial day, considering the finished work on the cross—He paid it all for us so that we might live a debt-free life from sin here on earth through to eternity—but it remains our responsibility to be intentional about our Christian living.

Let this season break our hearts again, not in sorrow alone, but in gratitude; for every drop of His blood speaks of love, every pain He bore speaks of our freedom.

May we not take lightly what cost Him everything—let us live daily in surrender, in holiness, and in deep reverence, because the cross was not just an event, it was a price… paid for you and me.
